RE: 33% Gee Bee Hostetler Build
The DA-170 does seem to be the power plant of choice. Were there any build instructions of any type with the kit or just the plans?? Waiting to hear back from Larry on the price of the 33% and will take it from there.

First RC Buggy
I'm looking for a buggy that I can play around with in the yard (2 acres) on the farm etc. I'm not going to race at all, this is just another toy. Is the hyper 7 any good. Does anyone else have any suggestions?? I currently fly RC so I have the typical Air stuff. Will my 9303 work for surface or is it air only?? Thanks for the help, J

RE: GEE BEE R3 RACER??WOW!!!
If it didn't cost a fortune I would be in for a set. Also a cad file that is ready for a laser cutter would be nice. That way all of the intricate pieces could be burned and the rest of the sticks etc. supplied by the builder. Just an idea. As for size, 50cc would be nice.

RE: Just wondering what the best prop would be for my OS 55AX on my mojo 40 ?
Don't get me wrong, I used the 13x4 apc on my mojo with good results. The xoar made a big difference though. Spool up was improved by the simple switch. If you have the 13x4 apc, use it. Will work fine. If you are buying a new prop grab a xoar.

RE: Extreme Flight Jeremy Chinn Yak-55SPs Preview
Take a look at the AR6200. You don't need 7 channels and the 6200 is still full range and lighter. I have it in the mojo and it has been flawless.

Mine is around 5 1/2" back (just behind the tube) and it is still slightly nose heavy. I would say it is a good starting point.

RE: Just wondering what the best prop would be for my OS 55AX on my mojo 40 ?
The engine won't turn a wide prop with nearly the authority. The xoar is the best. You can get it from www.swanyshouse.com and look under props.

Thanks for the update freaking. I appreciate it. How exactly do you "run the numbers"?? What does the 13x4 come out to?? I wonder is the Webra 55 on a performance muffler will turn a 14x4?? Thanks again, Jeremiah

RE: OS 55 & Red Jett muffler
I am looking for an even power band not to concerned with top end. My OS 55 is currently on a profile plane with a 13x4 prop. I would like to get a little more power to hopefully get to a 14x4 prop. I know that my application is not extreme speed but performance is performance. Thanks so much for your help. Jeremiah

RE: Just wondering what the best prop would be for my OS 55AX on my mojo 40 ?
Dude xoar 13x4 makes insane power. Spool up is instant. The xoar is almost an ounce lighter than the APC prop.

RE: What would be the best servos for a Mojo 40?
I use the JR DS821's and they work just fine. They are digital and have about the same specs. (a little more power and a bit faster) than the 5475hb.

RE: do you guys prefer 2 or 4 strokes for your profile?
I love ford vs chevy questions. I started on 2 strokes and they are good engines. I like the torque of the 4 strokes better. I don't have to fight the throttle as much. That said I put an OS 55ax on my new mojo and love it. I have an 82 for either a Chinn Yak or a Boxxer on the shelf. Both are good. Fly what you like.
