RE: Electric flying bird....
ORIGINAL: Fastsky Is there any electric gliders that look like birds when flying that are available? I like the Funky Chicken but I don't think its available any more. [:o]
Check out the EPP Eagle. I think this is what you are looking for. It's easy to assemble and is availale as a complete ARF with servos, motor and battery.

RE: What About Peakmodel.com ? Where did they go???
Hey Paco Have you had much experience flying the plane yet? I've been looking at getting one but have yet to hear from anyone on how it builds, flies or handles on the ground. What has been your experience? TIA John

RE: Ultra Stick questions.
I agree with pipeMajor and multicasting, the red/white/blue color scheme is the way to go. Also mount the engine sideways and the exhaust facing down. I used a supertiger 61 with a slimline pitts type exhaust which was plenty of power. However with this set up I needed a fair amount of lead in the tail but the plane flew well and came in nice and slow with flaps. If I were to do it again I would go with a saito 82. That being said, the 48 2 stroke should have enough power and would make balancing easier.

RE: China Model Planes Christen Eagle wanted...
I just stumbed accross this site. Check it out. It's for a giant scale. Your post didn't mention the size of plane you were looking for. Oops forgot the link. http://www.cyclonetoy.com/list_1.asp?id=1452

RE: New Pacific Aeromodel Clip Wing Monocoupe
There were also reveiws in Fly RC Magazine, April 2008, Model Airplane News, March 2008 & Model Avation in September? or October? 2008. In general I've only read good things about this plane with the exception of ground handling issues which seem to be the result of poor wheel alinment with the wheel pants. In my case loose wheel shaft collars. I built mine with a ZDZ 40-Zoar 20X10. This was my first gasser and only 3rd ARF. The plane flew very well and came in slow and easy with the flaps. Unfortunnately I was only able to get one flight before I got the wheel issues straightened and the season ended. I am eagerly waiting for spring to get some stick time with this plane and really get to know it.

RE: Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 40
With the Saito 82 did you have any problems with balancing? What size prop do you use? I was interested in maximizing thrust rather than top speed, any suggestions? Thanks

RE: Hangar 9 Ultra Stick 40
I was thinking about getting an Ultra Stick 40 from Hnager 9 and putting in a Satio 82. Does anyone have experience with this setup?

RE: Ultrastick 40/ Use nylon hinges?
I used a super tiger 60 with all the stock hardware with the exception of a sullivan 12oz flex tank. I did have to add a fair amount of lead to the tale but the plane few very well with slow soft landings especially with the flaps engaged. I did add hatch access to the area behind the fire wall to aid in tank installation. I think the original should have been design that way as it makde life so much easier. Good luck, you'll love the plane.
