RE: Setting Up C&H EI System On A Saito FA91S
ORIGINAL: SrTelemaster150
ORIGINAL: jymz Can you get away with running less Nitro when using a spark ignition? Say 5-10%.
You do not need any nitro when running spark ignition. 0% nitro will run on spark ignition. Nitro still gives a HP boost though. That's why Top Fuel dragsters run a methanol/nitro mix albeit far higher in nitro than what we use. [/quote

RE: Off Topic but maybe you guys can help...
I use A123s. One 2cell 2300mah lasts about 8-10 flights. Thats with 6 digital servos and running the CDI through a ultimate BEC. Fast charge also.

RE: Echo 28CC engine
Starting to look like something. Question....... Should I be using the thick black gasket between the cylinder and the block or just sealant?

RE: Echo 21cc in marketplace....
I own this engine. After a year I fired it up today on Glow fuel. I'm running a OS FS plug and a WT499 carb. Runs good, starts easy but would not idle. Best I could get it down to was 3400rpm. After running I found a crack in the carb block. I think that was where it was getting the air it needed to idle so high. I'll try a different carb block when I can find one. Top rpm with a MAS 16x6 was 8200. Can I do better?

RE: Echo 28CC engine
Thanks for the reply. I have one that should work WT263. I was thinking it would be a bit small for a 28cc.

Echo 28CC engine
I found this on Fleebay for $15.00 and thought it could make a good conversion. The Zenoah carb block fits with little modification and I have a Bennett muffler. What I need help with is what size carb would work?
