t-34 mentor c.g
Hello, One of my club members let me have a older t34 plane that was a kit and put together and is about 40 yrs old. it was well taken care of very little hangar rash, but anyway put it together with a new motor o.s .60 and servos re glued and epoxied the controll sufaces and fuse parts that i was able to get at and now i need to do the c.g. the wing is 70" and the chord is 12 3/4". what i have told as a rule of thumb is that the c.g point is 1/3 of the length of the chord? or can someone just tell me. thanx

RE: p-40 warhawk 140 size
I picked up my p-40 which is made by cmp models or nitromodels but i got mine through giant scale.com great to work with and great price for arf and robart retracts. The construction is pretty good all fiberglass fusalage and the wings are built up balsa, the paint job on it looks great, but does tend to chip easily,I was going to try to seal it with some spray on lacquer in a small area and see if that will help protect it.but anyway it's suppose to fly great and i hope to find out before the snow starts flying here. thanks and take care.

retract air valve
yes i would like to know how i can use a standard servo for a robart air controll valve for the retracts, the travel distance on the stadard servo seems to have to much travel in it and all i basically need is just 1/4" of travel to open or close valve.is there a special servo or do i just continue to putz with the linkage? thanks jzak3

RE: Scratch Building, Aircraft Design, 3D/CAD FAQ
to whom it may concen: i am try to scratch build a b-25 mitchell and i have a freind of mine that has a cnc machine that would help me make the most important parts of this project the wing rib formers,i should tell you what kit it is. It is a royal products B-25 mitchell (maratuka),the thing that i need to know is what is the airfoil design?the wing is 70"wide if that helps ,i did some research on some sites and the real one has a S3012 air foil so i don't know if that would follow suit to the kit size.so if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it. you can e-mail me at jzak3@wi.rr.com thanx much.
