RE: OFFICAL RC10B4 THREAD!
The B4.1 does not come with hex drives, but its a simple conversion with hex adapters, new steering blocks from the SC10, and front hex axles. I may have to give it a try......

[quote]ORIGINAL: Stryker USMC Outstanding looking model ka350kaptain. I love the direction you are going with it making a buggy. Great paint and tire/wheel combo. Question, that is a Slash chassis with the extenders? No LCG conversion using Rustler chassis, right? [/quote] Thanks! Its the ST racing concepts lcg kit which uses a Rustler chasis and the front and back ends off the Slash. In my case

[/quote] Thanks! I use Faskolor airbrush paints. The green was hand painted on with a brush, then black airbrushed over it just down the middle, then white over the rest. actually very easy, no masking

RE: Official Rustler Thread
Another project finally done. Stretch Rustler or lowered Slash? Installed the Slash LCG kit from ST Racing concepts. RPM arms, caster blocks, bearing carriers, and shock towers. Traxxas red alum turnbuckles and toe links. Velineon brushless, not yet installed. STRC 17mm wheel adapters, and Momentum 1/8 buggy wheels/tires. Wing is Pro-line 1/8 high downforce, mounted with HPI Hellfire wing mounts. Body is Pro-line 1/8 buggy for the Kyosho MP 777 (this was all from a Backslash project i did earlier from URC.com). Still working on a forward body mount. New body is coming soon. Enjoy![:D] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy1.jpg[/image] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy7.jpg[/image] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy2.jpg[/image] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy3.jpg[/image] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy6.jpg[/image] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy5.jpg[/image] [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/NewBuggy4.jpg[/image]

Traxxas waterproof gear in Miss Vegas
Just thought i would share a pic of a new radio gear setup i went with in my mod Miss Vegas. Basically used the Traxxas waterproof servos and a waterproof reciever box from a Rustler. I sealed up the flat 5 cell batt pack and mounted it forward and left of the fuel tank. She has been submerged several times, with no problems. I mounted all the gear on a piece of 1/8" ply, which is then bolted onto the original radio box blocks installed in the hull. RE: Aquacraft Super-Vee 27 Nitro.
I was going to replace it with another Aquacraft .18, when Tower had them for $52, but they have discontinued them. So, its either $170 for the OS CVR-M, or $100 for the Super Tiger .18. I know the CVR-M would make it into a rocket, but I just run this one for fun up at the cottage.

You could do something like what I did to my 2wd Slash. I'm sure you can do the same for a 4wd. Same great handling, etc, just a new look. http://www.ultimatetraxxas.com and click on Backslash. [image]http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r39/ka350kaptain/RC%20Truck%20Pics/Backslash1.jpg[/image]

[quote]ORIGINAL: 66impala what buggy body is the backslash? is the backslash stock width? i think thats gona be my next mod. [/quote] The Body is th Pro-Line Crowd Pleaser 2.0 for the Kyosho MP 777. Just go to www.ultimatetraxxas.com and click on the Backslash project. All the components are listed there. Really easy conversion. Lots of fun. might be a touch wider than stock with the 17mm adapters and the 1/8 buggy tires.

RE: Baja Bug Body for Rustler?
Looks like that short version of the pro-line bug would work good. About 1.5" shorter than the one for the Slash, and the wheelbase matches the Rustler exactly.
