SCAM on Classifieds
Last night I was reading through some of the listing for Jets and I ran across a buyer names Mill Foster. This guy made a statement to the seller saying is this you last offer and are you an honest person..... I have heard this before, Craigs list. Back in October I was selling a high end Harley and I kept getting questions like are you and honest person and is this your last offer. These people wanted to send me a Cashiers check or a Bank check, sounds good right, wrong. They want to send you a Bank check with additional money sent in the check for shipping. They ask you to cash the check and send them the money for shipping and they will arrange shipping and have some one pick up the merchandise. The problem is that the check they send you is no good, but good enough to pass through your local bank. It usually gets discover a couple of weeks down the road and bam your on the hook for the bad check. I don't know really how to warn people about this crap, so please if you read this and you know how to warn people please help. KT

RE: HABU 32?
I fly an 11X. It was pretty simple to disable the steering with the gear up. Just keeps things from moving around and binding.

RE: rich model keecat.60 size kingcat with retracts
I know from flying the King Cat that it takes some down thrust, I can't remember how much. I keep thinking around 5 degrees. Another problem may be the wing in not being fully symmetrical. Then again it very well could be your incidence. You might try using longer copper tubing which will make the clunk line short, less chance for it to go forward.

RE: rich model keecat.60 size kingcat with retracts
Good luck Bigdave, how much down thrust did you put in yours. I am going with 5 degrees with my fan. Did yours settle down with power off.

RE: rich model keecat.60 size kingcat with retracts
I have always balanced my airplanes upside down, from BVM Bandits to my Habu. I check mine with the gear down, but check it both ways. It will make a little dif. because the nose gear is moving back, buttttt it will make very little dif., not much weight swing. I have decided to go with EDF on mine, should have it ready to go by the end of the week.

RE: Habu crashed, looking for cause?
Is this a BNF, or PNP. I have heard that the reciever is no good in the BNF. I have the BNF version and have had no real problems, but when I heard about the issues I switched out the rec. to a 7 channel. I have no idea if this is good info or not, just something to think about.

RE: rich model keecat.60 size kingcat with retracts
Hi, I am wanting to go electric on my keecat. I have kick around the idea of edf, but would rather go with electric pusher. One little problem, I don't have a clue what to use. Can any one tell me a good set up in electric for high speed. I would like to run 8s lipos. I have the need for speed.

RE: Heads up JET JOCKS!
I worry about a mistake, one mishap, one serious accident, one violation and it's gives them, the FAA, something to stand on. I also worry that the AMA would tuck and run in any such event. Best to keep a cool tool, and a hot attitude with the AMA.
