RE: Problems Flying the Exceed F4E
Find someone that knows how to fly RC and let them see if they can fly it. It is different than flying for real. Alot of pilots have difficulty learning how to fly RC. This might not be the best plane to learn with. Again find someone that actually knows how to fly RC planes if they can't get it to fly and no responce then something is probabaly wrong with the model. Good luck. Lol Indeed!

RE: CMP Super Chipmunk 52
I think i have the manuel for this plane. Got it about 2or 3 yrs ago. Is you canopy clear or tinted. Mine was tinted but same size plane and all. Last and only thing i have bought from Nitro but will send you the manuel if you get hold of me. I don't think i throwed it away but may have. Usually don't throw any of them away as you never know when you might need them. Just send me a pm and see if I can get it to you. But have to see if i still have it first lol. Easy enough as i keep them all together so know right where to look. Mine was a disaster hope you have better luck. Great looking plane though. Was maybe the incidence with mine also lol. Don't know never got it off the ground had lots of problems that could not be fixed so it never flew. Or that i knew enough about to fix and several experienced flyers could not repair either. Did not know about this site at that time and could not get help from anyone at Nitro.

RE: breitling nitroplanes cap 232
You can probabaly find a PDF file at Horizon Hobby, Hanger9, or one of the more upscale manufacturers for this plane. The Cap is pretty abundant. Nitro's manuels are for well don't really know who they are for. They don't have very good manuels to say the least. Unless your about able to buid an ARF without inst. there manuels are not much help. But you can find the file for this type plane in other manufactuers sites in ENGLISH and DETAILED.

RE: Exceed F-35 and DX6i
What are you trying to get it to do? May need to go to flaperon instead. Depends on what your trying to set up. Don't know much about the F35 though. Try the manuel that came with the radio. What is a stabilator? See don't know much about them but know some about the transmitters.

RE: Nitro Planes Out Of Stock!!!???
That could end up being a better deal after all is said and done. You might need to replace some stuff as the reading about them goes. So you would end up about the same maybe. Just how much do you want it NOW.

RE: The Man Cave
NKD I hang most of my planes by the prop. Just run some string and make loops around your joists then insert the props and let the string slide up against the prop hub. Found this is the most room saving way for me. There is a pic of the building on page 5 of this topic. Hope the weather there gets better for ya'll. I have a niece that is in Nebraska with her husband working right now and they are not having it so good either. Would put the pic here but went to do so and my RC folder said file empty got to find out where my wife moved them lol. She is a whiz with this pc and me i am pretty much go here and a few other car sites and the racing fourums and that is about my enitre knowledge lol. Anyway good luck and just remember they fill up fast. Espesially when they were supposed to be the the wife's persoanall storage bldg. She lost all but the loft lol.

RE: The Man Cave
The bench is going to be out from the wall 5'? Where is the door? My building is just about the same look and size of yours and man it fills up quickly, Just a wing rack takes alot of room. I have my door double doors then my bench is about 2ft and just runs along the oposite wall as the door (front to back) and a 100 size plane is hard to work around even if the wings are off in mine. It was a kit from Lowe's. I put a loft in mine for my wife's junk lol. But think they will look similar and are similar in size. Good luck and really really hope the dykes and dams and all the sandbagging holds up for you folks. Good luck.

RE: Why are you an AMA member?
Well i have not renewed this yr. I have Home Owners and know from experience what AMA does for you if you do. I did not know about the ins. being secondary when i joined as the place i wanted to fly said I had to have it for the ins. Now i just go and enjoy flying at different spots some more gooder than the Club field. I still keep my Club membership as i do enjoy the company of the Club guys and they call now and then to see why i am not coming out to fly. (think they miss a good crash now and then) But that is the one and only reason I joined. AMA other than flying at different CLUB venues does nothing personally for me. There main flying site and most big time events are held in other States and I can't just take a week to go fly or watch ( i would be way intimidated to fly at a big event) so not being a member is no big deal for me. I have ins. that from exp. i know will pay and within two days from reporting a claim. ONE is all i have had and it was when i was new to the sport flying my first glow plane with the help of a very experienced Club member as i did what everyone says to get help. Actually he helped me get it started and then it was mine. Did not have enough rubber bands on wings and they came off. I have entered parades with multiple planes attached to the sides of painted sky 16'x8' both sides and top. This my club or LHS did not want part of so my neighbor and i put our planes on it and my WIFE AND SON AND I built the float. Kids loved it. So i do talk about and promote flying and do encourage AMA as a good place to start just at this time not for me. Good flying guys with or without AMA. Oh i fly some big planes also. And some little ones too. I have posted these pics before but just to show I do try to promote flying you just don't have to be a AMA member to do so.

RE: NP's price on the p51? why so cheap?
DETOUR is a good idea lol. The instructions are very vauge if that good. Just use your head a little and you will see there is a reason behind the cheap. If you haven't built more than a couple planes Nitro will be very hard for you. Even the moderator on here Opjose says not for the novice. The Nitro plane company does not have a very good reputation for getting a good plane. You can get one that you can make fly though. But understand there is a good reason for the price being what it is. 2-3 hunderd cheaper what do you think your getting. I have fallen for the price ONCE. Never again for me. But some here don't mind having to replace the parts they send to build with just to me by the time you replace the bad parts and all, and have to go over every joint, brace, well everything the price ends up close to the same anyway. IF you go with them just don't be heart broken when you don't get all your order or it is wrong, and if you need something the only way to get help is thru one person if he can help you at all. Good luck which ever you decide. You can look at alot of posts here and see some of the nightmares people go thru. And also some of the ones that have been building for yrs that have no problem changing out parts for ones that work.

RE: Four Stroke or gas
My Saito 125 pulls an 7-8 lb plane around great does use the fuel but man the power is awsume on this. My 180 pulls a Sundowner or did lol weight of around 13lbs. was not as fast as I wanted but faster than the pilot. The 125 has a 16x8 Master AirScrew and same on the 180. The 180 on this size plane to me could be bigger, but flew it good and done all i could do just speed was from 84-93 depending on wind and stuff when it came by radar.

RE: Pitts M12 120
Yes Nitro ARF"S are not to be desired really and a novice as I was when i ordered from them was not pretty. Seems like a descent manuel would be a really easy thing for them to produce. Only one good manuel per plane is need then copy the dadgum thing, but make the manuels useable. Alot of guys here say a novice should never buy from them for there first or second planes.

RE: 2008 yak 54 56in CG?????????
Also wheel pants tend to poke holes in your wings if you happen to fold the landing gear. I don't use them except for planes that have to just look good. The ones I fly ALOT I take them off.

RE: How Many Airplanes Do You have In Your Livingroom?
One Spad that i am building on at the moment. First try for this taking longer than i thought. Maybe if i would work on it at least every couple weeks lol. Also have purpose built shed. 12x20 have 5 flyable and about 20 in intensive care unit not much hope for most of them just try to keep them comfortable. You go thru alot of them learning on your own.
