ok, but if all I need is the switch and its board, why so many different part numbers? Also, none of these come up on Tower Hobbies website. Thanks

RE: Jetcat stickers
You can also try Callie Grahpics. I have used her before, cheap and quick and very good quality. Just send her a picture of what you want and she will make it. [link=http://www.callie-graphics.com/]Callie Graphics[/link]

RE: How much $
$5000 or there abouts. Crashed my BVM Bobcat on its 4th flight. I think that works out to $1250 per flight on that.

RE: Custom painting
Ok, I have a question for you home painters. Do you just paint it in your garage, or do you have some kind of paint booth? Reason I ask is that I am going to try and attempt to do my first paint job on a BVM Bobcat XL in the next month. Thanks

Unlink RX from TX??
I am giving a friend one of my R6014HS receivers which is linked to my radio. How do I unlink it from my radio? There will be times when we will be flying at the same time, so I don't want the receiver that I give him linked to my radio. Thanks

RE: Ignition cutoff location question
Well, I have tried cutting the cable ends again, even used a different cable, checked all the connections again, and it still doesn't work. I did what you aksed and hooked up a servo to the throttle cut channel, and the servo works with the opperation of the toggle switch. The transmitter module must be bad. There is no other option. Thanks

RE: Ignition cutoff location question
Yes, the green LED on the fiber optic transmitter is going on/off in conjunction with the toggle switch on my transmitter. So my programming in the radio is correct and setup correctly. And like I said the receiver module is good since I tested it on another plane. The transmitter unit must be bad unless I am missing something else. I have hooked these up before, so I am familiar with how they are setup/work. Anything other way to test it? Thanks

RE: Ignition cutoff location question
ok, i finally hooked it up, but I can't get the cutoff to work. I can't get power to to the ignition. I believe the module by the RX is bad. I have even used a couple of different optic cables and still, nothing. Then I took the module that mounts by the motor and installed it in another plane with a cutoff and I can get power to the ingition then. It must be the module buy the RX.

Ignition cutoff location question
I am setting up a friends Extra with a DA50. Ignition is going to be used with a 7.4Li-ion with regulator. My question is where would I install the cutoff? Between the regulator and ignition box or would it go before the regulator? Or does it really matter? Thanks

RE: Servo amp draw
ORIGINAL: sskianpour You will also lose amp draw as you takeoff as the air under the wing will be in effect similar to a finger pushing the flap up. My Kingcat has huge flaps and the servos are at 0.01 when flaps are DEPLOYED and 0.15 when they are retracted to normal flying position since the weight of the flaps being held in ''neutral'' taxes the servos a bit. Of course some people suggest non-digitals on the Kingcat flaps but that's conversation for another thread. Just to keep amp draw down, I leave the plane at full flap DOWN setting while I start up and taxi out, then I retract them to ''neutral'' before takeoff. Just my 0.02 which takes us up to 6 pennies if anybody is counting [:D] Shaz
So I shouldn't worry about the amp draw and servo buzzing? I don't think it could be healthy for the servo.
