RE: RC Surfer
You all must be so happy right now in Maui...I know how it feels to get in a good session after sooooo long! Congratulations! The boards look good and the action looks great.. The photos look great...do you share the camera and take turns? Having someone to go out and surf/photo with makes us loners in the World all a little jealous. Thanks for sharing. [size=1]Hugh[/size] Your new board looks great, and from the photos Surfs even better...Good work! [size=1]Barrels[/size], the Channel Island 'Skinny Fish' works great but there are a couple more shapes I want to try and I want to remake my Firewire "Dominator' Good thing that the 'Diva Chariot was built for two...I get 4 runs in and then I get a little worried about water through the prop stuffing tube...no water, just worried...nicer to just switch Surfers than do maintenance Beach side. With a spare in the truck...just in case[:D] I'll be set for a full day! I am so wiped out after a dozen batteries...can't imagine doing more, besides the sheer number of photos to look through would be staggering. I can only imagine how much attention the 'Diva not in the water will be getting...going to have to take more cards to the beach with me...maybe a self serve dispenser ...no one is going to believe that I am not selling them[:)] The three Amigas...Melika,Nikki,and Tina will all be happy to have their own boards. I shaped my version of a Rusty Dwart this past weekend...here we are yesterday taking a UV bath...just love UV cure resin... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/IMG_8011.jpg[/image] #19...Year 2 Board 1 Melika is done and ready to ride...just need to put in another 40 hours into the board. With some hard work this week...we might hit the water mid next week.... I believe that building custom RC Surfers and their Boards is a disease with no know cure... Like tying your own Fly's and catching fish Fly Fishing...catching a nice wave on a thrown away piece of foam, a thrown away wave no one wanted, with one's own imagination and effort...is a rush that will be hard to give up. [size=1]TCP[/size] Totally agree with the 65C Lipos...mine are barely warm to the touch after running them hard! The 40C batteries would just get hot and puffy. So happy I spent a little extra money this time. [size=1]Maui John[/size], That board looks great with those red rails...looks like there is a great space for some art work.

RE: RC Surfer
having trouble with Photobucket this weekend...won't letb me upload any images...[:o] [size=1]Dom...thanks for the props! I have had a vision of what I wanted...and it's finally getting there...18 boards and 8 surfer girls later! Curlz..[link]http://.http://www.surfline.com/surf-news/hurley-pro-preview_76322/[/link] haven't decided if I am going...it going to be a zoo...and I don't like zoos. 'Point' will be closed to all non competitors all week...I guess that means early dawn patrol until they kick you out. Surfing on the edges won't be worth the crowds...besides, Melika has been complaining that she doesn't have a ride yet! Splashed salt water on my Radio, lost all micro adjustments that morning, almost went home, board was pulling to the right...have ordered another...gotta learn to get out of the water after launch. Surf forecast looks good down here next week...so I guess No...but that could change. Hugh...I think the time for fun and games has passed...those guys are serious and once the competition has begun they will be super focused.... I imagine there will be security to keep people away....next time I see him I will offer for sure. thank you for the comparison to Maui's boards..the ultimate compliment Maui...Someone at work asked what he had said, ???? I could'nt remember...still in a daze from that trip....so I was listening to the footage without the Salsa...Someone came up and started talking with him right after my 'Duhh" comment but you can hear at 00:35 I get a Wow! out of Slater! Atta girl Nikki! He won't forget you.[/size]

Life becomes complicated with sponsors... The 'Divas love to free Surf...I'd hate to take that away... Here is a short video I put together from the second to last battery yesterday evening... RE: RC Surfer
Even more Pros today...the Hurley Pro starts Sat... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/733.jpg[/image] Got there and forgot the hatch wingnuts in the Van...DOOHH! When I got back, Nikki was ready to charge. [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/731.jpg[/image] only ran a couple packs ...it was just too crowed with excellent Surfers. I like to hang out on the inside a cherry pick nice waves Surfers fall off of...these guys were not falling off many waves... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/732.jpg[/image] did manage a few nice ones. Met a lot of the Hurley people and several shapers that were fasinated by my board...you can imagine...Shapers! Headed up to Cottons...it was less crowed and had nice waves... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/736.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/730.jpg[/image] Waves seem to move faster here...maybe its my imagination... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/735.jpg[/image] Cottons was nice...headed back now with charged batteries... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/734.jpg[/image] Dom....Set up an account with Photobucket(or something similar, I use Photobucket...its free) I created a special album(you can have many) for Rc Surfer posts...be careful not to move the photos or change the name of the album...or you will get the frog in ice... once uploaded...you now use the 'image' tab in the toolbar [img] [/img] ..just paste the 'direct link' to the photo in between....you have beautiful full page photos.

RE: RC Surfer
Thankx MJ I am just trying to make them Surf as good as the Maui Crew... Thought you might enjoy a short video....my new video bracket was a bust...I used it for about 30 seconds...just didn't like the weight at the Radio. Put the camcorder back on the Helmet ...tried to keep my head still..easier than the camera at the radio. Got 17 minutes of acceptable footage with minimal head shake...whittled it down some.... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/642.jpg[/image] Scary huh? [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/DSC_0058.jpg[/image] Here is a photo shared form a new friend, Lori even shared a wave with her husband Carl [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/639.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/638.jpg[/image] Ended up busting the mounting screw on the video camera(from previous Mcgiver) so I did not get any footage from Sunny Thursday...next week!

RE: RC Surfer
[size=1]Hugh...looking good! Your right about the Surfers taking forever...Last one took me 20+ hours...and I used the head/hair from a previous version. It is my least favorite part of the custom build....So, I always do it first so I can enjoy building the board I am sitting in front of Starbucks letting the Coffee soak in...yesterday pooped me out! I decided to return to Cottons for the evening session..so I drag all my gear there...thought I was going to die...train tracks,...soft sand...pulling the trailer by hand...its further than I remember when Maui took me there the first time...must have been his magnetic personality that made time fly!...anyways I get there start looking around..and I see a sign that says County Line...WHAT! I have seen that sign...,,,so I leave my stff and head back to the van...make much better time with out pulling the trailer...get in my van...drive back to the Cristantos parking lot, get on my bike and 5 minutes later I'm standing at Cottons! .[/size] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/623.jpg[/image] [size=1] This bike/trailer setup opens up all the breaks at Trestles...coming in from below is all paved except the last 100 yds or so,,,5 minutes in/out! Takes longer to put the Trailer together and load it than it does to get there...the alternative is a 20-30 minute walk each way...This photo was taken earlier in the day at 'Middles' [/size] Here are some more photos from yesterday: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/622.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/624.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/626.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/627.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/630.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/629.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/628.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/625.jpg[/image] Heading back there now....getting light and the batteries are charged! See you in the Surf!

RE: RC Surfer
[size=1]Surf down for the next couple days...just can not get excited by 1-2 ft I have been having an issue with my twin fins...they were blowing off the posts after big jumps gone bad. [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/09.jpg[/image] Here we are tearing it up and all of the sudden I have no steering! That will not do. I decide to go old school and make them out of Brass. That worked wonders. The board is very responsive and no more blowing off after jumps! I realized that last week I had made the fins 1 3/4 in and wanted to make them 1 1/2...so today, i made some more and took these photos for you of the process. First you have to choose the fins you want...I rely on the 'Masters' for all my designs when it come to the Divas...nothing but the best! I particularly like these Twin Fins: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/fcs78mrtwin.jpg[/image] Then I needed Brass from our local Hobby Store: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/08.jpg[/image] 3/16 Brass rod and 049 Brass plate Then it was off to Kinkos (our local copy center) to get the fin template down to the correct size: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/07.jpg[/image] Here they are glued onto the brass plate... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/06.jpg[/image] My trusty Dremel Tool made it quick work to get them roughly cut out. [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/05.jpg[/image] Thank goodness for Harbor Freight and their cheap tools...this belt sander make sanding them to shape a breeze! Next it was time to cut the slot in the rods to accept the brass fins: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/04.jpg[/image] My dremel Drill press does the trick and makes the job pretty easy. I then Super Glue the brass plate in place onto the rod [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/03.jpg[/image] Thats it!.... just kidding[:)] The secret to soldering the Brass is FLUX! use lots of it! [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/02.jpg[/image] The flux allows the solder to flow in between the brass rod and plate...making for a bomber weld. The next part of the process was difficult to photograph... it involved a torch and the use of both of my hands....so words will have to do... The trick is to get the brass just hot enough to melt the solder...and not much hotter. So with a propane torch I apply a little heat...the flux is bubbling and spreading out....apply a little more touching the solder to the brass every so often as I go, trying to find out when it is just hot enough.... Eventually the solder starts to flow....apply a thin bead around the rod...allowing it to wick underneath...after it cools some, flip, and do the same to the other side. It will take less heat to do the second side... Allow it to cool down and all thats left it some cleanup, washing off the remaining flux, sanding down any extra solder, and a little polish to make them pretty, you can even use magic markers if you want to color them.... Here are my 1 1/2 inch FCS Mr 78 Twin fins: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/01.jpg[/image] All ready to go Surfing![/size]

RE: RC Surfer
[quote]ORIGINAL: YPC The interest on the beach is so intense from kids to old folk constantly asking questions, its difficult to ride most of the time without been 'distracted' - I am going to work on a basic web-site to post all my pictures & footage - with some Tech and Cost talk......then simply direct them to it for all there Q&A's - maybe have a T-Shirt printed with the web address....LOL [/quote] [size=1]A long time ago...someone printed T shirts with the answers to the most common questions on the back...they did not want to be bothered I guess...that is not my style. That is why I printed up calling cards...They have all my info on the front and links to find out more info and where to buy on the back...I use two sided ink jet cards I can print form home...so each diva can have her own card![/size] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/nikki3.jpg[/image] [size=1]What I find is that they are way stoked to get a card, the questions stop (happy to go online to learn more later),and they go back to enjoying the Surfer in the moment... ps better bring a lot to the beach..when I go to new breaks I can hand out 20/day! [/size] [quote]ORIGINAL: YPC I first mistook your battery for a 6s - looking at the C rating on your 4s battery 65 - 130 .......if you are getting 20 minutes from a 5000mAh pack running 14.8v's - your average amps drawn are only 15amps. You could rather safely run 20C x 5000mAh packs (100 amp draw-down capacity) and a 60 amp ESC.......save a good couple of $'s [/quote] [size=1]In theory this sounds good...truth is the 35-70C's run hot, swell up, and therefore do not last. Can't even image what I would do to 20C batteries... I have a good feeling about these. I just bought another 4 for a full days worth of fun! Wouldn't even dream of using anything less than my Aquastar 120A...aka Swordfish 120A http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__10626__Turnigy_AquaStar_120A_Water_Cooled_ESC.html Runs too good, has way cool features, and I guess I never push it to its limit...cause there have been no Issues providing proper water flow is maintained. I just want to run as hard as I have to given the conditions and not worry about any of it...this combo along with the Turnigy 3665-B-2300(which is still out of stock) does just that. Works like magic! Just costs a little mo that's all[;)] [/size] [/quote]

RE: RC Surfer
This is the best radio I have ever used. [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/mx-3x.jpg[/image] I was a fan of the HK radios, they served me well. But nothing prepared me for the speed and accuracy of FHSS3 !!! The best feature of this radio, and there are many, is the fact that I can adjust the throttle neutral point on the pistol grip. The radios were designed for the cars....cars have breaks...our Surfers do not have breaks. The MX-3X allows me to move the throttle neutral point all the way forward, 1/4 turn back, and expand the throttle range of my ESC...no not for faster...SLOWER...now, I can just barely spin the prop to stay in the heart of the wave and still get full throttle when I need it. My HK radio could not do that...I had developed a super sensitive trigger finger over time but still spun the prop way too fast compared to the MX-3X I had resisted using this radio, even though it was the first radio I bought, because of the antenna position on the receiver...seems like the wrong place for it, antenna height was severely shortened...but what do I know. I solved the dilemma by adding two servo wire extensions and glassing the receiver right into the board, like my servo, and thereby achieved the antenna height I was looking for. The fish could not be more responsive, have more range, and has never lost signal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/370637038359?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht Far cry for $499...not even close. edit: just noticed they ship to South Africa...$24.00 What a deal!

RE: RC Surfer
[size=1]Hey John, thanks! When you were here you told me that as long as the area around the Hatch seal was flat we could do away with the plexi....so I got rid of the plexi, and now make all my Hatch covers flat. I made a template of the completed Hatch cover...from one of my other Divas that worked well...so I can outline the completed Hatch cover on the foam after I have the desired thickness at the Stringer. I used 1 5/8 at the stringer in the Hatch cover area, that is thick enough for my batteries and that ESC standing on its side. I learned the hard way (#17) that you have to keep checking with the calipers for the 1 5/8 all around the out line and at the stringer when your getting it down to size. Your boards have a real sharp edge ...wakeboard style...I really like the JC Hawaii style rails...sharp edge to just past the prop, Tucked under edge to just past midpoint, and soft to the nose. His rails have a little volume to them...3/8 ths seems to be as thin as I can go and still get that tucked under edge... I then taper all the way around the hatch cover outline back down to the rails, half pipe style, out the front, and out the back past that drop off point we setup for the rudder control... I did this hoping that the board would look cool [:)]... so that it would sink farther into the water while on its side self righting requiring less effort to get back up. It seems to sink farther in for sure and Nikki gets up pretty easily. I added the least amount of lead yet on the Fish. Also, I didn't add any lead until the board was completed! You see that trip you took me on to Cottons got me thinking... I was ramming into the reef pretty hard at Swamis one day and punched a hole in the pod...well, you can guess the rest. After that trip I was reminiscing..the waves and that beautiful property, President Nixon's West Coast White House... President Nixon is still on the 'outs' with most Americans. But He did do a few things right. He mandated that all Oil tankers built in America have double hulls. My dad worked for NASCO here in San Diego, and I went to the launching of the Exxon Valdez as a kid. The Valdez oil spill was a disaster...250.000 gallons of oil spilled and destroyed everything that it came in contact with! What most don't realize is that the Valdez had 1.4 million gallons on board! Thank You President Nixon! Why not make all my boards with double pods? Humm?? I shaped and glass the board as usual. Before I put on the pod and glass it on...I cut out the hatch area, glass the heck out of it to make it strong...all beforew the pod. I then measured the depths I had and figured out how much I needed to get the motor/prop shaft angles just right. Then I shaped the pod to be as small as I could get away with and still get it all to fit. Finish the board as usual...except I try not to get any sanding resin on or around the immediate area of the pod...needs to be fiberglass on fiberglass later on... Once it is all done...I mean all done RTS with battery on board. I go to our model boat pond with lead and duct tape in hand to figure out how much lead do I really need to get her to self right confidently...I used 7 oz on the Fish. Back home I use a hot glue gun and secure the lead and give it a layer of cloth to secure it in place. I ground up some foam with a small sure form added some lam resin to make a 'slurry' which I coated the entire pod area with..getting my desired finished shape. Some finish sanding and I was ready for the final layers of cloth...I used 3x 6oz So now you have to punch through 18 oz of glass, a layer of foam(for cushioning), 6 oz glass, some lead, and another 18 oz of glass before any water in getting it through there! We love Reef Breaks at Low Tide! And that's the story why all RC Surf Divas will be built with double pods. Thank you President Nixon...[/size]

RE: RC Surfer
I wan't quite awake as I headed to the beach this morning... When I got there I was confused... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/560.jpg[/image] Where am I? Am I still in San Diego? [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/561.jpg[/image] Am I in the ...Twilight Zone!!!! Ooohhh right... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/562.jpg[/image] This is BLACK's Beach! ....and that hike back there makes the stairs of '130 steps to enlightenment' at Swamis seem tame. I counted 675 steps out of this place...at 17 steps per story...about 40 floors![X(] Well then, since no one is here...Let's Get it on! [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/564.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/567.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/563.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/569.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/570.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/579.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/578.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/574.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/573-1.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/575.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/576.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/580.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/577.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/572.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/573.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/572-1.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/571-1.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/568.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/565.jpg[/image] [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/566.jpg[/image] Whew! I'm pooped and I'm off to work. Board ran Fantastic! Nikki really enjoyed herself. That was three battery packs worth of photos....I have been getting around 20 minutes per pack these days...as many photos with three batteries as I was getting with 4 before. Climbing out of there I was debating whether it was worth it or not?....didn't think so then...now,I'm showered and looking at the photos of our session....maybe we should go there again tomorrow[:D]

RE: RC Surfer
Well, it was obvious that Nikki needed a new board...one tailored for her. It was only fair! So I worked real hard last week and finally put the finishing touches last Thursday...only to have the swell disappear! We did manage to get out on Friday evening right after work...just had to try the new board... We ended up at La Jolla Shores where it was crowdeed but pretty spread out at least. Nikki (the divas in general) always draw a crowd..so I fired up the battery before I left the Truck, walked on to the beach, and launched straight away. After a minute or so, in I turned to look behind and there was 15 people with their cell phones up in the air like Sand Dollars feeding in the sand not 100 yds from where I stood, just past the breakers if I remember right....had to chuckle. Our session was cut short when the set screw came loose on the servo arm control rod and we lost steering...but not before...OMG! This fish rips. We left with smiles on our faces... No photos from that session...the helmet cam camera really doesn't do well with backlight subjects...grainy and blurred...wasn't worth the effort. This morning we got up early and headed to WindanSea for daybreak...usually we don't go Fri-Sun it's just to hard to Surf all morning and then head into work, but.... I really wanted to Surf the Fish again...and the swell was a lousy 2-3 as it has been for what seems like forever! Enough words for now...Here is Miss Nikki Peel and her new Fish: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/550.jpg[/image] Here is the view from behind: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/551.jpg[/image] and the pod? [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/554.jpg[/image] or this one: [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/552.jpg[/image] Here is another view" [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/555.jpg[/image] Ok, I'll stop messing around... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/557.jpg[/image] Here is a side view.. [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/556.jpg[/image] Here is the board by itself...modeled after Channel Islands Skinny Fish... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/553.jpg[/image] with a tweak or two from Maui... It is 34 inches long......10 wide 3/8ths at the rails 1 1/2 inch Twin Fin Turngy XK3665-B-2300KV Brushless Inrunner w/custom water cooling jacket TURNIGY Aquastar 120A Aero coupler driving a .150 flex shaft and Octura x432 prop 5000mAh 4S Nano Tech Battery...~20 minute runtime Switched to the Airtronics MX-3X and receiver for this ride...well worth the money, I'll explain later... Nikki and board RTS weighs in at 8.15 lb (had to add 7 oz of lead...least amount yet!) Couldn't be happier...this board rips harder than anything I have ever owned! We are going to have a good time for sure now!!!!! Middle of my first battery a very excited photographer come up and says 'look at the shot I got of your chick' I looked at the viewfinder and said WOW! Those were the photos I posted earlier.

RE: RC Surfer
Ok, Since were talking fins...I have just completed my first Twin Fin...photos will come soon... But my dilemma was when I was installing the tube that they go in... Do I make them perpendicular to the deck? Which I did... Or, do I make them perpendicular to my 15deg Vee bottom? they would look nicer... [image]http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w453/rcsurfdivas/ruddertom.jpg[/image] I was just driving home from the model boat pond...when I had this thought....would the outside fin actually lift the outer rail...and drive the inner rail deeper into the water, initiating a carved turn..like in skiing...edge set rebound.... causing a more 3d effect??? Some sort of modified Rudder Dom...Rudder Tom? Any thoughts? Might just have to try it...have some room for an extra set of holes[:)]

This was the only image I could find that had a vertical compnent to it.... Curls...as a photographer I enjoy playing with and sharing the images after a session in the Surf. This forum gets too serious without a good helping of images....images/video make the forum a fun place to visit. When things get too verbal....well, we all know what the outcome can be like...no fun to say the least. Lets try and make it a fun place to visit. Get that pretty gal of yours to shoot some footage for us to enjoy .... my 2cents worth... edit: So Dom do you mean the transverse CG ?? That makes sense to me///thrust line intersecting....wait, I don't understand after all.
