I read a lot about them, but after reading that its best to charge them in a coffee can incase they explode.......Id rather not have that near my family. LOL perhaps when they iron out the issues I will buy one. They sure do have a lot to offer.

Nope, but I will with the next Tower order. Because I haven't given them enough money in the last week.LOL. Do you all think the switch is too close to the motor. Also I mounted the power cap. on the upper deck right along with the receiver. Good idea or no? Thanks for the comments. I would really hate having to do this all again due to my own ignorance.

RE: Novak Brushless setup pics

Im just having problems with the layout of the components as well as what the best way to deal with all of Novaks Wires on this thing. So by looking at someone elses, Ill be more able to figure out how mine is roughly supposed to look. Thanks for the resonse though. Anything right now helps

Novak Brushless setup pics
I, like a few others on this forum have either switched from Nitro, or just plain started into electric. With that being said, Ive bought a bunch of cool new stuff and have no clue how to configure them. So my question is this. Could someone running a FT T4 and a novak 3.5 shoot me a pic of their set up? Im not sure how its all supposed to look when Im through. A bar setter , if you will. KMWDESIGN@AOL.com Any tips would help a bunch. Im a long way away from Nitro on this project. Kevin SC

RE: Novak Velociti 3.5R Motor
Can you run the 3.5R on a Sphere Comp.? I read that the Comp wont handle it. From the page.. "Motor Limit. Motor limit with brushless motors: Over 3.5 turns (for all available motors of today). Motor limit with brushed motors: Over 5 turns (for all available motors of today)." So it is 3.5 and over, or just over 3.5?

Must be nice to have a place to race. Closest one to me is 3 hours. No good. No good at all. It seems like it would be fun.

Does anyone know of a store that sells the majority, if not all the Alum. parts in a bundle? I would go through and order each one seperately, but this cat is far too lazy for that. Viva le Revolution Gridlock

RE: Dream rs4-3 18ss
That was exactly what I was looking for. But, I, well we, just bought a Mugen kit as well as a ntc3 factory kit. Now that we bought them, its gonna be awhile before we drive them. Friggin all the other parts needed are $$$. Are all of those upgraded parts compatible with the new Evo version? I might have to buy one now, cause let me tell ya, that's purdy looking. This is fast becoming just as painfull to the pocket as paintball.

RE: Dream rs4-3 18ss
Again, money isnt that big of a deal. I plan on building this car over the course of a few months. I just want the absolute best. To the degree that, a person would look at it and say, "well damn." That is my intention. Thanks for the speedy relpy though. Woot.

Dream rs4-3 18ss
Damn, I've been on PBnation for years now ( for all you paintballers) and have yelled at the new kids to use the Search option since day one. So taking my own advice, I tried the one on here, and I kid you not, 50 billion threads for Good RS4-3 18ss set up. Non of which actually had all the info I was looking for. So for you RC Universe Vets out there I'm sorry for making a new thread. I know how it feels. Ok with that out of the way, here is my dilemma. My Wife has agrees to start a new hobby with me, because traveling to 100's of miles play ball every weekend is a bit hard with a newborn. So rc cars is what we chose. We chose HPI not because they are the greatest, fastest, nor coolest, but because they have a bunch of parts and we really want to build one from the ground up, just to learn about them completely. My question is, if you were to build One of the RS-3 18ss cars, what would you upgrade( with what manufacturer), radio, **engine**, ect. Money isn't an issue really, so go balls out if you would. We just want the best so when we do upgrade cars, we can give a really good car to our neighbor. Speed is the key. Thanks for your time. Long post eh KMWDESIGN@AOL.COM After its built, and I inevetbly kill it. Ill buy a netter car. I see the Mugen cars are nice.
