RE: Covering job
Yea, they had fun. We all hung out and talked about planes and flew the little electric in between rounds. That scheme doesn't seem too hard to do. It's all wood, thats good, because I don't know how to paint. I could possibly do the covering for you. Since I won't be getting my silhouette till january or so and I think the Focus 2 kits are coming in to Piedmont at around Christmas if you'd be interested

Why NOT "Pattern"?
Hey everyone, Kris Kovanda here. I fly in D3 with Mike Hester. I'm 17 and in my 2 years of Competing in Pattern I have never found a stuck up person or someone who gave grudges against people. Everyone is really helpful and nice. I enjoy it very much. This year i attended teh NATS. It was great so many pilots of such a high caliber" even in Intermedaite". But everyone from the intermedaite flyers to the best FAI plots at the nats" QuiQue, Peter, Kirk, Sean, Mike H, Bryan H, etc...." are as nice as can be and enjoy talking to fellow fliers about everything. I don't get the feeling Im tryin to get brushed off by the big guys or anything like that everyone is as nice as can be. I can't wait to go back. I personally havent met any IMAC pilots( I live in the Florida Panhandle) so I can't really say anything about them. I would like to fly a IMAC contest to see how it is. I love the freestyle stuff also just my pattern plane doesnt do it well( Hydeout)<----For Sale by the way. Kris Kovanda D3 Pattern kriskovanda@cox.net Email if interested

Top Cap ARF,what engine?
Hello everyone. I'm stratching a top cap right now and I cant wait for it to be done. I had the Su-Do-Khoi 40 sized and I put a Magnum 91 4 stroke on it. I had a zinger 14x4 prop, running with cool power 15%. I never experienced flutter and I could hover at a little less that 1/4 throttle. Plenty of power to climb out, I'm hopeing the Top Cap will be the same way. It's so much fun. I have a pic but it says its too big, how do i chop it and make it smaller?

FAI style pattern on the cheap
Hubb, If you or anyone was looking for a 120 size pattern plane, I have one you might be interested in. I have a Sam Turner Pursuit 120. It was pro-built by Sam Turner. It comes with 2 YS 120 NC's. But one NC needs a Crankshaft and a exhaust valve( $120 max for parts). It has all futaba gear except for the mini throttle servo with is FMA. The futaba servos are a S9402 on rudder, two S9101's one on each elevator half, and two S3004 one on each aileron and a Futaba S136G retract servo and a 1200mhp nicad battery. It has Supra retracks, they have never pulled out out of the wing on a hard landing. This plane required only 3 clicks of trim with the set up I have now and will fly most of the sequences( except FAI). It has plug-in wings and stabs. This airplanes is a beauty. Some minor minor nicks on the rudder. If anyone is interested you can email me at kriskovanda@cox.net I was asking $1500 for everything minus reciever. I have pics available I live in the Florida Panhandle and Perfer not to ship but willing to meet within a reasonable distance. Kris
