RE: OFFICAL RC18R THREAD
yah i guess so .. those little things can add atleast $30 and a good radio but RTR will be around $120-150 but i'll buy used becasue 1. your gonna put new motor 2. your gonna throw away the stock battery 3. your gonna throw away the radio. depending on where you live and other stuff so a used rolling chassis will be fine depending on how skillful you are with these cars

RE: NEED FAST BRUSHLESS CAR
high volts w/ high hv equal high rpm = heat and you need a 25-30C or better lipo for that with a high amp rating if you run a high volt bat + high rpm it equals alot of heat and you need a fan on your car . also you'll be breaking alot of parts going 126 is not going to be that muuch fun even 60 is plenty fast and hard to handle

would you be insterested in a 2nd TA03 ? its stock and never been ran yet. test driven but never ran . never went past 5mph and had like 500ft on it you might need it for spare parts since it can help you save$$ when you need new diff parts or anything like that . PM me for pics or sumthing

rly ? well here is the motor OHM reading lil bros motor : black, red - 0.3 red, white -0.3 black ,white -0.3 BROKEN MOTOR black-red 0.7 red, white - jumps alot, but when i push the wire down i got it to read between 1.9-3.4 smallest reading black, white jumps alot, but when i push the wire down i got it to read between .7-3.4 smallest reading so i guess a wire is broken inside it .

RE: why is my brushless motor doing this ?
its never been over heated i guarantee i check my motor temps very often and i run fans on then my mamba 8000kv was way over heated , bearings are super smooth . probably had like 5 runs only the motor is the newest one too out of the 3 . motor spins freely my dad says its has internal shorting. but the wires arent cut. or anything .

why is my brushless motor doing this ?
so i have a brushless motor and it just stopped working today. have no idea why . its not dirty. not abused. worked last night. and kind of today. and now it wont work its not the esc, my sidewinder worked fine in his car which is the same BL motor. not the radio. my radio works fine with his ESC/BL motor my servo is glich free also when i give it throttle it wont spin . it just pulses forward then spins backwards every time i give it throttle . it like vibrates , it wont spin constantly in one direction but forward then back really quick (like it spins one way then back every .01second . probably not even 1 RPM yet ..the more throttle i give it it pulses harder and faster. its never been abused . and sand never got into it . the motor beep sounds sound diffent now, and the motor and ESC gets warm in like 30 second. is my motor shorting its self out ? esc gets like 90 degrees warm after like 10 sec same with motor and the wires are warm too . and in my lil bros car after like 10 sec of actually spinning at high rpms its still is pretty cold same with ESC the BL motor is no brand off ebay. this is the 3rd one and the 1st 2motors worked fine, so did this one until today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuBdiADYs&feature=channel_page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihZ13tuSh2M&feature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWFtaidbDoM&feature=channel

how do you find the right servo saver for oyur rc car ? because i dont know how to look for one do you look for them by the servo spline # tooth count or the diameter of the servo that you put the servo horn/saver onto ?(horn gear spline) my servo has 21tooth on the splines and is 4.97mm in diameter at the place where you put the servo saver/servo horn onto . so can some one help me loook for one ?

RE: what would be good 1/18 entry car?
rc18r becasue they dont break alot and can take alot of abuse . they come with ball diffs which are better then the vendetta which have ball diffs . they dont need any upgrades almost the 3 upgrades i have on mine are adjustible cambers adjustible shocks and a BL system no upgrading to the drivetrain needed on my rc18r

RE: charging lipos question??
charging 2 packs at once is pretty unreliable . that can blow up pretty easy is charged wrong . i would say charge them each at once unless you have a plug adapter that makes the 3s into a 6s and a 2s to a 4s and make sure that the voltages are measures correctly at the balancing ports and at the deans plug casue on the turnigy accucel 6 and many other chargers you might need to plug the deans and the balancing plug to balance charge

no zippy/turnigy/flightmax battery these days are awesome . made well and no puffing . i have 4 zippy batts for 1 years now . and they run fine .. the voltage difference is very the same off by .05-.1 volts after each run .. get it . and take care of it . and it wont explode . other HK CHINA brands of lipo will explode. but i can guarantee you that zippy wont .
