RE: OFFICIAL HPI Sprint 2 Thread (Sport and Flux)
A high KV motor would simply burn out on a 3S....to much amp's going to the motor=heat....low KV motors less heat= more amp's

RE: OFFICIAL HPI Sprint 2 Thread (Sport and Flux)
To take the sidewinder/HPI warp motor apart it unscrew's from the pinion end...take the grub screw's out and put in longer bolts so you can use a bar as a leaver to unscrew the cap.

RE: how can i fix the steer slop in my hpi sprint??
Look in the official hpi sprint 2 thread on page 45, It's all there explained very well by uncle vinnie. RPM ball cup's take alot of the slop away. I also have a spring under the middle tie rod. the spring pull's the steering in tight while the tie rod is pushing the steering apart giving me super tight steering.

RE: anyone use a ansmann xbase 2.0 se?
You should get about half hour out of that battery. How long are you charging for? mine charge right up to 8.4v then the charger starts to bring down the amp's takes about 45-55min.

RE: OFFICIAL HPI Sprint 2 Thread (Sport and Flux)
Does anyone else have this problem? I have a sprint 2 flux with nearly all option parts fitted and it now run's sweet at my local track. i use the hpi x patten tyre and would like to stay with them, but after 20min or so I have to stop and clean the front diff as it has a thick build up of burnt sticky rubber that cause's the belt to become very tight and slowing the car down. Is there a way to stop this without using a harder tyre. Thank's.
