RE: new rally truck
I never said they were HSP. Why would say they are HSP and link Himoto, strange. I said they in general reference to the link. The only difference between all these are the paint and graphics on the body. The bodies are the same and components are compatible with each other as long as there in the same class and size. Where the difference is, is the customer support and web pages. Personally I choose Redcat because the website was a lot easier than the others navigate at that time. Quality difference as far as I know there the same, just different aesthetically.

RE: new rally truck
I know the scales are different so is the chassis. But the chassis on the Redcat Aftershock will be the same as the HSP truggy you posted above both 1/8. The Redcat Vortex 1/10 will have the same basic chassis as the buggy and truck I posted before.

RE: new rally truck
The also have a viper x2s 1/10 truck built on the same chassis. [link=http://www.himotoracing.com/product/truck/gas/truck_g013/details.php]Link[/link] Are they and redcat changing all the chassis to this new style? Its kinda cool I'm liking the sway bar. Theres also a [link=http://www.himotoracing.com/product/buggy/gas/buggy_g015/details.php]buggy[/link] on that chassis

RE: I need a few parts
What size are the stock rims and tires? Are there other brands that are the same size and will fit the 12mm hub? The 2.2 look smaller then stock. Is 2.2 the measurement of the rim or tire?

RE: I need a few parts
I was looking at nitrocx.com and they are selling a 1/10 electric drift car for $100 thats a steal. The reason I don't want to put a lot of cash into this one is because I want to sell or trade it for an electric. Either a truck or a truggie but Id consider a buggie. How fast are they compared to a volcano sv with vx 18 motor and how long will they run on a charge? Also whats the recharge time?

RE: I need a few parts
Do you have any pics of it? I found my missing E clip so All i really need is wheels and tires and transmitter and receiver. My receiver is fine but my transmitter is shot. Will any AM transmitter work or do I need to buy them together. Ive found some on ebay that just sell the AM transmitter. I found a good price on stock wheels and tires for $10. for 2 Its a dealer that sells the same truck under a different name.

RE: Question for all RedCat owner
I was in the market for an entry level nitro rc truck. I found 4 that were the same, the Redcat Volcano SV, Amax thwarter, Himoto Eldorado, and the Hsp behemoth. The reason I choose a Redcat was there website. The forums and the live chat (although no ones on). I couldn't find a web site for Amax or Hsp. Himoto has one but it's really hard to navigate and find parts. The week I've had my Volcano it's taken a beating but so far its holding out fair. A few bent shocks, bent axle and a hole in my exaust. The way I look at it is you can break an expensive one just as easy as oh I'll say an in expensive one.

tires deflate on the volcano
I guess deflate isn't really the right word but 3 out of my 4 tires on my volcano deflate if you squeeze them i was wondering if anyone else had this problem also i found what was causing it theres a small hole on the inside of the rim something to look out for if you run your car in the water with the hole you'll get water in the tire and it will start to wobble
