RE: MOJO 60 Saito 100 vibration
I have the same set-up. And it is a common problem, the Saito 100 is a "shaken sob".My covering has split at the corners of the hatches on the wing about 5 times now. I have a zoar 16x4 on the Saito and it rips, give it a try out.The wood lets it spool up fast, and the 16"length will slow the plane down to crawl. On Pro Bro,they is a thread on the shaking and how some guys have modified the engine mounts to remedy this.

RE: NEED HELP with Engine Size for a Seagull Yak 54 60 size
Hi there, I have a Y.S.120 ac in mine and it rocks.Unlimted vertical, hovers at a little less than half throttle. To balance I had to put reciever pack just in front of tail servos. The Y.S. 120 is a heavy engine,I would go with the Saito,U might even consider the saito 125,the Yak can handle it & like U stated,U can`t have too much power. I would suggest that U re-inforce the landing gear mount area with epoxy or or gorrila glue & also re-inforce the motor box, their want much glue in those areas on my yak.

RE: GP Stuka ARf flaps...
I have about 35 degrees deflection on the flaps. The air sirens are called air whistles from, I-4C.com. They are really whistles that U cut to different lenghts ( u get 2 of em) to produce a different tone between the two. I have mine mounted on the belly pan,& when I put it in a dive ,U can hear them just over the sound of the engine. It always draws a lot of attention at the field.I`ve had my Stuka since 2003,broke the right wing off twice! It will tip stall if U bring it in too slow,Just be a couple clicks above idle when landing, & u will be fine..,Also ,if U retract the flaps as soon as U touch down,it will help keep the plane from bouncing.

RE: GP Stuka ARf flaps...
you won`t even notice it,however i did program 2 degree`s down elevator when flaps are deployed. This puts the plane at a perfect nose down angle.I have a saito 100 & air sirens that whistle when in a dive !

RE: Lanier Radical 330 ARF
This is an excellent plane ! I bought a spare ! I`m using jr-811`s & a hitec hs-85 for throttle. A OS 46 SF/ABC WITH PUMP swinging an apc12.25x3.75 prop. This old racing motor screams ! I have someone always trying to buy my plane, it weighs 4.25 lb`s & has no bad habits. I love to hover, waterfall, then pinwheel & go into an up-right flat spin, & then end up in an inverted hairrer !

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70
I was a saito fan also..,untill I got a ys-63 ! U can`t beat this engine,I think even saito knew this, they now have just come out with a .62 four stroke as well ! I run a apc 13x6, tried a 13x4 but that cuts out mid-range, the engine is so pwerful, that it spools it up too fast. I hover a half throtle, have un-limeted vertical, I don`t think U can get a better engine in this class.

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70
Regarding the c.g., after 3 more flights today, I`m also moving my cg back about 1/4 " from what the manual stated. The more I fly it ,the more I like it ! Tower hobbies list the OS manifold with the plane, and someone else posted a direct link to also.

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70
Guys, get this plane ! Here`s my setup: YS-63 using an OS inside header hte muffler exits out of the airbox on the bottom. The manuel states using sn OS 70,U will have to add 2 to 5 ounces to the tail, so I used my YS instead. Servos: I used JR811`s in the rear (3),hitec 225mg-ailrons & a hitic-81 for throttle.A 6v-1650 battery in the nose and the plane balances without any additional weight. Flying weight ia 5.1/4 lb`s. If U don`t want to do the sweetest blenders, tightest flat spins, straight knife edge passes, then stay away fron this plane. Our resident expert,Dave Sullivan flew it & he was doing rolling circles 30 seconds into the flight,he loved this plane and wants a bigger version to go electric with. tHE PLANE IS VERY BUILT,HAD NOT ONE WRINKLE IN IT,however the two things I did not like were; 1, U are given sheet metal screws for all the control horns,I used dubro heavy duty horns. 2, the tailwheel is installed directly to the rudder, the servo will take a lot of abuse,so I USED A sullivan instead. I only have 4 flights on so far, but I like it so far, stall are straight fotward, lands a little fast but easy, You will not be sorry spending your $ on this one.

RE: World Models Cap 232 46R
hey bull, mine balanced witout any additional weight with a os 46-ax.It has all the power U need, great flying plane, however this will NOT make a good trainer for your son! It is far too responsive, get a sig kadet, U & your son will be much happer. My cap is no more due to a bad reciever, however Horzion replaced it free of charge{thanks Horizon!}. I do Plan to get another one though.

RE: Matt Chapman cap 580 .40 size
jeepindog,I used a 14-oz.,great planes tank I swapped out of my gp-stuka.All I had to do was widen the 1st. bulkhead about 1/8" on each side.I`m running a O.S. 70 with a 13x8 while breaking in the engine. You will love this plane it is very honest and goes where you point it, enjoy!!!
