why do you want to go electric ? you fly 15 minutes then you have to charge unless you have extra batteries $$$$$$ i fly gas and fly 10 times for 18 minutes a flight , dont understand the thinking behind this !!!!!! electrics are ok if that is what you want , we have a few guys at the field who fly them , more gas and nitro , we have 135 members anyway just a thought !!!! i will never go electric !!!

either engine is a good choice i have both but it appears my DA has more power , but as i say both are very good engines and both very reliable and it is not insecurity it is called made in the USA but most have forgotten that!!!!!!!!!!

i fly a futaba 9c , it has been converted to 2.4 , i also have a kraft signature from the 80s i had radio south convert to 2.4 , get the best radio you can afford so you wont have to contuinally buy new radios , a computer radio with all the bells and whistles you can afford , it will make your enjoyment of the hobby greater!!!

my wingtube is tight on my planes and my wing bolts are 1/2 inch longer after the thread starts allowing ample grip on the wing , the wing should not have seperated so easy , my wing bolts are plastic or maybe nylon anyway they are super tough

it sounds like you have a bad cell it should charge back to 70 to 80% of rated output 1650 should have charged up to around 1450 to 1500 mah after charge voltage should read 5.5 to 5.6 put your load tester on it and it should stay steadyb with ba 2 or 3 tenths drop 5.3 to 5.2 , i think you have a damaged battery pack

good job graybeard when i use to build my models i would order or buy 2 in case i needed a replacement , i still have several untouched unopened kits , Sig Kadet Mark ll sweet stick sweet and low cap 231 and 2 T2As and 2 dick hansan tippo always kept a spare while i was flying those models , and who knows i may very well build one in the future , right now the way i work just dont have time for it , i enjoy flying , and i really enjoyed building , but that is how i ended up with my unopened kits !!!

this is a lost cause , no wonder we have so much unemployment , we are suppose to unite agianst the world , but we want cheap cheap , then we cry and whine when something tears up , as for my equipment my DA engines are 95% american made , my planes are built by Nir Schwitzer here in the USA virgina , as far as my radio i purchased a kraft signature made in the USA and had radio south convert it to 2.4 , my servos and batteries are all that is not made in the USA thank you!!!! so over 80% of my hobby is made in the USA!!!!! what about yours??

i dont think anyone will laugh at your plane , guys we are forgetting one thing , flying of the plane is by the pilot , i know pilots who can ring f3a manuvers out of sport planes , remember the plane helps , but smooth thumbs and precision are what counts , and a good pilot with a trimmed plane with adequate power can be competetive , it will surprise always remember think positive ok

wow i almost had a no no mixing my elevator and second channel aux for second elevator forgot to go to aux and set switchto null , was checking on bench and accidentely hit g switch and left elevator went 100% down , would have cost me a plane , will double check everything from now on

you are correct closetguy mistype 22 x 10 at 7500 rpm my bad didnt catch it!!! but no DLE has outperformed my DA yet they have tried at the field and came close , but no cigar , DA is the best engine dle maybe very well be the best china 50cc engine but that doesnt say very much , oh and the my DA 50R is only 50cc and the DLE is 55 cc my wagstaff weighs 14 lbs the yak with the dle weighed 12.5 lbs and my DA flew circles around it verticle climbs , manuvers , you name it , he put his tail between his legs and wimped home !!!!!! here is the kicker i dont have to fly at full throttle mostly half throttle is all i need !!!!!!

you are right , but al the software is written for and by american companies DOD , some electronic equipment and boards are shipped in , but mostly electronic parts and they come from california , the boards are punched and wave soldered here and inspected here , a lot of components for the electronics are made here in silicone valley , it will surprise you what electronics are made here , the bad problem as you stated is the surplus trying to be refurbished and sold as new , it happens !!!!!

Sir YOU ARE WRONG I WORK FOR DOD I KNOW THEIR CHAIN EVEN FOR SUBCONTRACTORS , i work there every day we check parts in and send the ones made in other than the USA b ack to the vendor to supply correct parts as per their contract !!! you dont want a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY KNOWING HOW AND WHAT MAKES OUR UNITS FUNCTION !!! that would be pouring gas on the fire !!!!
