RE: Power Jam 2012 - Buzz Shots
Next year, around same time @ the same place. LSRC has put a ton of work & knowledge into the tracks to make them 1/5 scale friendly. You can do some serious racing there, and the more people who show up to run, the better it is for everyone. Here are a few of my favorite pics. & a link to a bunch more. It was great to meet a few more of you in person ! PowerJam always brings people from all over & it's great to meet the new ones & spend time with ones met in the past. Here is a photobucket link, but I've not cleaned out junk pics. yet, so they are all there. http://s757.photobucket.com/albums/xx217/LSRC2009/PowerJam%202012/ Here is a small video I made of the Finals day racing. RE: question
I agree. If not you will need a high current controller with 24v capability to pull such a load. Something like this one in this link would work, but going to cost. http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/Golf-cart/electric-motors-and-controllers/143212
ORIGINAL: racetruck
ORIGINAL: Noom-RC-Thailand   i have add ball bearing inside(A position) / reduce gear damage problem as before...
if that gear plate is like the upgread one we have i would not use because the gears are to far apart and the points of the gears the spacing dont mesh tight enough go back to the one without the alum insert or the all alum gear plate
See to me this explains more about what I said earlier. I meant Nothing bad against Redcat in the statement I made, but to say the Parent company came up with an upgrade part with an Alloy insert with improper gear spacing is just Nutty to me ! How would they do that & actually let them out ??? Or better yet Why ?

It's great to see a True Un-Biased review on this. My suggestion to anyone who wants to have 1/5 scale fun. Save your money & buy a proven design with an actual company behind it. Especially in the 4x4 class. BTW: I have a completely upgraded TT for sale as well if anyone is wanting one

The 4x4 class is shaping up to be a track full of Race ready cars. I wish we could supply you with the parts you would need too. As you have already seen the inventory we have, I can't really imagine adding a New mfg. to the list, But you never know what could happen.

Of the two I would say definitely the Rampage. Nutech has very limited support here in the U.S.. The New v4 MCD's are way different that the Gen 1's though too.

RE: RE:
The body is the obvious difference. With the V4 Baja1000 not available & MCD working on a new Cheetah, we figured the Baja1000 enthusiasts would be looking for an option. This is where the SC5 come from. Not to mention that Short Course R/C is sweeping the nation, but it is, & this model would be a huge success in 1/5 scale short course racing.

Custom Large Scale Pullers ( WWPA ) Winamac Indiana
The WWPA has been around for some time now. Their name means " Weed Wacker Pullers Association ". I met these guys about 3-4 years ago at the I-Hobby Expo in Chicago. I have been attending events when I can ever since. This is one of the nicest groups of people involved, all there for the right reasons, Friendly competition & having Fun. Last weekend was the 3rd event for them for their season & the first competition event I could attend. Once again we had a great time & so I wanted to share the footage of that event. Feel free to make a comment. Remember these are all custom built machines doing some Amazing pulling Another great weekend, hanging with the coolest group of R/C guys from the WWPA. Thanks to Greg " Sunny " The day stayed dry & Mother Nature avoided dropping rain, until the event was over this time. Probably the best weather we have had at this show so far, Not baking hot, but Not raining or to wet either. Tons of great pulls for everyone to see, & a great time had by all. Once agian HUGE thanks to Jim ( Nsayn Racing ) - For allowing me to drive his cool machines agian. There is NO doubt Winamac is my LUCKY place. Took 3rd place in the truck class & by a total twist of fate got the chance to pilot the Tiller tire JD & with Greg having issues. I won the Exibition class. How lucky can one guy be ?
