Hopefully you will get it soon Anthony. This is my favorite color scheme for f18 . I have tried to purchase an available one but on the 1:7 scale with same colors a month ago from FEJ but still no further response from them on my second email. If you can start a build thread when you receive it i will subscribe!!

Shigaardi i see that you want to finish this project even if our suggestion is NOT to fly it yet so i can suggest that you start building it and post pictures here with your progress or questions and a lot of people here will help you through the process. I can understand that you may be far away from other jet people in emirates to get local help so if you want to get some help from this forum you need to give us something to work with you.Since you have no experience in Jets you may have already installed some components in your F16 that may need a second look or advice from some of the guys here. This is an expensive toy no matter how much money you have and is always sad to see one going down from negligence.

Shigaardi when you say ready what do you exactly mean and you only need an airpower valve ? how is your canopy for example opening and closing and how do the lock/unlock latches work? do you have operational airbrakes on this? can you post pictures to see the status so we can help you better since you decided to fly this bird?

Actually the other guy was refunded well before i put my enquiry hence i did it as the f18 was ready with the color scheme i wanted and could be shipped with in a week.....i still see no reason for delaying the reply.

YES with paypal is 45 days, what i have learned is that on the 44th day you open the case and is open until it is resolved....i also found out the hard way. Anyway i have tried a month ago to buy a cancelled order of an f18 and i emailed james and factory and for the first time James never replied and i guess the reply was from somebody in the factory that answered some of my questions and said that they would get back to me...silence since then.

i entered the world of jets in 2008 with the 1/8 F16 and found it very helpful as first jet, i agree that if you enter approach on right path and level a slight throttle input will land the bird firm.....now some will say the bigger the plane the easier to handle with correct thrust settings... the 1:5.5 scale i don't know if it is suitable as first jet.
