RE: Electric, glow, gasser. Just choose one
I always charge my batteries right after I fly them. They are always charged. I'm slowing converting all my planes to electric, but still have two glows and one gasser, sat I took out my Saito 100, well the muffler came loose And right after the prop came loose. That does not happen to electrics!!! I wasted precious flying time fixing those at the field. Electrics 1 glow 0

RE: RCU member and jet modeler in a serious accident
I wish him a speedy recovery too. But my opinion of motorcycles is that there are two types of motorcycle drivers, the ones that had an accident and the ones that are going to have one. In the ERs they call them organ donors. Hopefully he is going to be at the flight line soon

Flutter
What causes flutter? Can it be fixed? it happened to me yesterday, both ailerons, half throttle, just after taking off. Third flight, previous two were flawless. i managed to land her safely and there was no slack in the control horns, they were tight!! Receiver battery is LiFe and it was fully charged, winds were mild (8), straight down the runway. As soon as I iddle the engine it stopped doing it. Ailerons are on separate channels to the receiver.

RE: a lesson to all
Alright guys, how many of you are driving cars w/o AC. They are fine and take you from point A to point B, but A/C is more comfy. Power steering is also a blessing. So why people with enough mula to own a 2G plane still have a 72 transmitter? It is beyond my understanding. But maybe I'm dumb
ORIGINAL: microdon2 You electric guys are so LUCKY. Except for the lack of engine sound and combustion and exhaust smoke ... Ha.
And time, I can fly x 15 mins with most of my glows and 20 mins w my gasser. Actually I land when my neck hurts.

On the same note, this wknd my 73" Sbach blew the throttle servo. Since it is a low torque position, do I need a digital or can I get away with a std?

RE: Larger Revolver
[:D], ahhhh, I can stop taking the Paxil now. That second pic looks a lot better. The speed I believe you, someone at my field clock my lil Revolver at 95mph. Those little suckers can move. I'm the master of sneaking big birds into my garage, she can't tell the difference. Though I haven't try a 40% yet. Good luck with that. Reminds me of this joke. The guy comes home with this awesome $10,000 jet and tells his wife; don't worry,it was only $800. Three days later a big truck stops in the house with a new bedroom, living room and dining room set, she looks at him and tells him, don't worry they were only $800[X(]
