George is on the boards here (username = George) but has been tied up working out final details on the store. We have some new things coming to help both you and us with the stock requests. Stay tuned for more info. Currently, we intend to keep pricing the same on the Mobile unit as our web pricing. If operating costs require us to bump pricing it will be minimal!

RE: Dreamworks Mobile Products - Officially Launched!
To answer a few of the questions: Taxes: Really depends on location. Some states will require us to collect, others not. Still working out all the legalities state-by-state. Pre-Orders: Not a simple answer! For most events, We will not be taking orders to be delivered by the mobile unit .... Dreamworks Mobile is a separate business entity of Dreamworks Model. With the exception of Florida Jets, we will not be taking Pre-Orders to be delivered by the Mobile business. Logistically, it does not make sense for us to do so. My immediate schedule has me attending the Fly for Tots.... Unsure of additional dates at this moment. Thanks for all the kind comments. We have worked some serious overtime developing Dreamworks Mobile Products, we look forward to your feedback in person!

Dreamworks Mobile Products - Officially Launched!
It is with great pleasure to announce "Dreamworks Mobile Products" has officially launched.... Dreamworks Mobile Products is the culmination of years attending meets and struggling to find a satisfactory method of transporting, displaying and vending our product lines. Over these years I developed a mental vision of the ultimate mobile store with the intention of bringing vision to reality - One Day.... After years of planning and months of construction; along with my partner in the business, George Delmoral, we celebrated our launch party for our new Mobile store on Saturday afternoon! Dreamworks Mobile Products contains 99% of our warehouse inventory along with some extended product ranges to cater to not only the Jet segment but all RC enthusiasts in general. The Mobile store will be traveling the country year round, attending roughly 35 events a year. Our initial events on the schedule for the remainder of 2012 is as follows: Toys For Tots - Sept. 14-16 (NC) Super Jets South - Sept. 27-30 (GA) Hamburg Jets - Oct. 4-7 (PA) BITW - Oct. 17-21 (CA) Sin City Jets - Nov. 1-3 (NV Pensacola Jets Nov. 9-11 (FL) (maybe) I would like to officially welcome George to the Dreamworks family and we look forward to seeing you at the field!!! RE: Performance proportional electric braking now a reality!
Actually, these units seem to be a bit "over built" based on the data I have seen; I believe you would have adequate braking under 6.6V but would have to confirm once the samples arrive. My concerns with the Electron units in general is they only work with Electron wheels and they are a bit on the heavy side at 220gr!

There is no more "Hard Case" Tamjet units, he ran out of the cases over a year ago. Only ones still available in limited quantity are the shrink wrapped units - At least until the new Dreamworks Failsafe is available, in production now.

RE: EV5U-PRO/EVO News....
And finally - EV5U-PRO/EVO @ 5.1oz 2 MC35 Servo, robart mechanical valve, UP6, Jettronic sequencer, 2 air gauges, 2 linkage @ 4.7oz Note: we are still missing an additional servo, additional robart valve @ 1.7oz just to get the mechanical system complete! Seems i am correct believing a mechanical setup is indeed heavier than the EV5U while offering less function.

RE: EV5U-PRO/EVO News....
Fender, As I stated earlier, I was not really relating to the "weight savings" theory of mechanical vs electronic. So.... I took a few minutes to compare for you. First up - an EV2U dual action electronic valve vs a robart mechanical: EV2U @ 1.5oz Robart valve, MC35 Micro Servo and linkage @ 1.7oz

RE: EV5U-PRO/EVO News....
ORIGINAL: hooker53 What's the diff between my silver colored EVSD-5U pro and this one? Anyone had any Probs with their EVSD models?
Nothing! The latest revision is simply given a new part number from Airpower. To avoid confusion to our customer base, we still refer to it as the EV5U-PRO; Same as an EV5U-EVO, EVO designation simply means it has the landing light module built in.... We only sell one EV5U now, they are the latest revision and all include voltage display, Landing light module and the ability to disable the failsafe function. Landing lights are available separately. Keeps inventory simple on our end.

RE: EV5U-PRO/EVO News....
Bean.... The EV5U-PRO/EVO weighs 145g or 5.11oz. Add up the components to do the same functions mechanically with servos, valves, linkage, sequencer, air gauges, voltage display and lighting module.... what is the weight savings? I could weigh them for you when I get in the office tomorrow but I don't honestly see any weight savings; in fact I wouldn't be surprised if the mechanical system turned out slightly heavier. So lets remove the voltage display, light module and gauges.... You maybe have saved .5-1oz? And consumed twice the space in the airframe? I'm with you on keeping things light as possible but not sure I can relate to the weight statement on this one.

EV5U-PRO/EVO News....
I know their has been some reliability issues with the EV5U Multifunction Valves that have some customers on the fence regarding them. We have been Replacing (defectives) / Shipping the latest revision for about 6mo with the updated pressure sensors, CPU and software. To date, we have not had one defective return of the current unit. They have proven completely reliable.... I am sure those that have the new units will verify all reliability problems are a thing of the past.... Todd
