Bill, I also have a N.I.B. Byron STA I am going to build this coming winter. I am vary interested in your wood replacement wing, rudder, and rear stab (replacing all the foam). I want to do the same thing, the foam just is not going to have the scale look I want. I will powering mine with a 3W 42cc engine with scale working exshast. Do you have templets for these items yet? lovehydro

RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
It is probably time to up date the brotherhood on my progress, I have posted several photos of the rebuild on this plane a couple of months ago. Here is the painting photos. I am waiting for my dry transfers from 'GetStencles' right now. Vicky at Get Stencles is wonderful to work with, I highly recommend her for your graphics. I am doing the east asian MK XIX Spit with the black Panther on the side and her work is wonderful. After I get it cleared and the balance of the weathering, I will post some more.

I am also rebuilding a Pica Spitfire. I have done some research on other threads for CG and found somewhere between 41/2 to 51/4 was the recommended CG. The CG shown by Pica apparently is not correct. I hope some of our fellow Spitfire Brothers that currently flying Pica Spits, will pipe in and let us know were there plans CG at. Lovehydro #39

Is there someone local to the Northwest that can give me a call and walk me through posting photos to this thread. I am almost ready to paint the total rebuild of my Pica Spitfire and I have several photos of the rebuild that might be interesting to someone also rebuilding an old Pica Spit. I have tried several time and failed every time. Lovehydro #39
