RE: Banana hobby f-22 70mm
I have owned the single motor version 3 for a long time now, its a good model. Changes; Replaced the servos (pre maiden) run with 4 servos for the flight surfaces not the two that are set up for you (pre maiden) Expanded the battery bay (pre maiden) changed the motor to the same one that is in the Dynam meteor Painted it (pre maiden) Love this model, if I crash it, I will replace it, center piece of my edf fleet. RE: Hawk Sky motor cut out when increasing throttle
Try another ESC, the problem will go away when you change that out.

RE: Hawk Sky Motor Upgrade
yes that part number is for the pod but do not lose your screws from your original pod, I do not think screws come with the spare to mount it but screws do come with it to put the two halves together

RE: New Hawk Sky - not responding
Make sure your radio antenna is fully extended up and pointed away from the receiver Make sure the lead from the ESC that connects to the receiver at the throttle connector is connected correctly. It only works when connected correctly. I think the black or brown wire will be on top. At this point connect nothing else Make sure the throttle on the radio is in the off postion (lowest) and make sure the throttle trim button is in the lowest position. Turn on your radio Connect your ESC to your fully charged battery A few music tones should play from your power system in the plane. If you hear one constant tone repeated over and over your receiver and radio are not bound together. If you hear a small melody then they are bound together and your motor should then have power, advance your throttle slowly to test, if it does not have power right away try moving your throttle to full and then no power quickly to arm your ESC and again advance your throttle slowly. Watch your fingers!!! If none of that works reverse the lead at the receiver for the throttle and start over. All the leads plug into the receiver facing the same way, remember this!!!! Once you have the motor running correctly connect the next lead and test to see what it controls by moving the controls on your radio. Remember the leads have to go into the receiver correctly. Took me a bit of time to figure that stuff on on my first plane, which was a Dynam Hawk Sky, one year ago this month!!!!

RE: Hawk Sky - motor wont run
Well I put a new e-flite 30 amp ESC on a Hawksky with the stock motor and have the same problem if I quickly go from 0 to max on the throttle, but if I go up on the throttle a little more slowly it works fine. It is a new replacement motor from NP. I have flown with it I just can jack it up quickly. I think I will get a new motor from Grayson Hobby an V3 to replace this stock motor. The 30 amp ESC was taken from a plane I upgraded before it ever flew (PZ Corsair)
