RE: IMAC Apps available
Hi, I just discovered and tested your app and I think it is great, very usefull. Something I've been thinking about for long but got it done now. Thanks a lot to both of you for your effort. I think I'm going to share it with my colleagues here in Europe, but I wonder if you are open and willing to include non US activities and also pattern flying schedules. Kind regards

RE: WIND S PRO
Hi, Huison, do you think you need a 10 amps regulator? 5 amps would not be enough? Thanks

RE: WIND S PRO
Yes Velco, your are opening to me very interesting paths to go for experimenting. I was thinking about "0.something" of throttle at lower KV but the different brake effects also open alternatives which I think they could only be validated after experimenting. Yes, I don't think a theoretical approach will provide enough and understable answers. thanks again for another 10 cents. [;)]

RE: WIND S PRO
Hello, I do understand now what you mean, Velco. A bigger diameter and less pitch propeller as a result of a lower KV motor in order to keep the same Amp range. Bigger diameter / less pitch propeller will surely help to slow down on downlines. I was not sure if you meant just lower KV as to provide less rpm on low throttle for any/same propeller. That's when you still can choose what components to use, but once you have your motor already the choices are not the same. I agree on going first for root causes, but I question if the brake programming would be of much help in this case, from what i understand will give you some control on when and how to stop your propeller but not to keep it at a low rpm. Thanks for your 10 cents. GD

RE: WIND S PRO
Hi Back again, that's much more than 5 cents to me, Velco. I do however need some time to understand and tune up my ideas around the subject. I'll be back soon, it is late here now TIA

RE: WIND S PRO
ORIGINAL: Velco One more thing which came to my mind is that going lower kV, hence Axi 5330/24 or Hacker C50 15XL together with 22x12 (WE) would definitively help reducing speed in downlines. Ground clearance should not be the problem.
Hi all, Could you explain a bit your assesment? Just because of the lower KV or really because a bigger propeller? What about the brake programming on the Jeti Spin in order to reduce downline speed? Kind regards

RE: WIND S PRO
Good evening, let me present a small clip about the new Seba's Wind S Pro made from the maiden flight last week by its proud owner and pilot, Mario Reviriego from Spain. [link]http://vimeo.com/8151089[/link] The plane is a real Seba's design since first sight. Very light, around 4500 grams including batteries and with a very good covering IMHO. I hope Mario comes here and tell us more about it and his personal view about the plane. GD

RE: Somenized Yak-54,86" with redundant power set up
Forgot to mention my setup: A Powerbox Sensor, which in a box itself contains a double independent switch, two regulators, two leads for batteries and two leads for the receivers. 2 Flightpower EVO-RX 1600 2S2P complete the setup. 35 grams for the Powerbox plus 2 x 86 grams on batteries. Quite enough redundant and light setup to my understanding. Other components and pilot are not setup redundant by many reasonsc[>:], but this choice is worth the price Regards

RE: Somenized Yak-54,86" with redundant power set up
ShorkR, As far as I understand, may be someone can confirm, you can plug one battery source in your receiver battery port and the other in any of the used channel ports by using an Y cable
