Go to the buy& sell section here and look at some of the transmitters for sale. You can get some real good deal for a transmitter that someone is getting a newer one and is selling there old one . There are a lot of 72 mags and some 2.4 for sell

Should I Quit
I'm 68 years old and I been trying to learn to fly RC air plane. I have crashed about 14 or 15 planes. I do fly without a buddy cord and do pretty good the biggest problem is landing.I seem to try to land to fast and i also have had other problems like putting my planes in tree and losing the wing in the air.I should say that i do fly glow and like it better then electric. what do you think give up the hobby or not?

RE: spacewalker 2 40
AA5BY I like it it was a little quick compared to some of my other planes It's going to be a learning for me.I got the cowl on it now and it was balance with only the cowl weight had to take out the oz we put it it at the field.I think I'm going to get a12/4prop and see if that well slow it down a little.

spacewalker 2 40
I got a spacewalker 2 I flew it for the first time Saturday After a friend took it up for me I'm not a great pilot when i comes to the first flight.Anyway the plane was OK put the throws are real small the arlon are1/6 up and down and the elev.is 3/8 up and down and the rudder is 1inch left and right.if you were going to increase the throws how much would you increase them .I past the trainer stage .The plane seems to be a little docile. If you have a spacewalker let me know what you think and if you think i should change anything.

RE: what engine
Well i decided to to go with the tower 61 and i think i made the right choice the power was there to do all i wanted and the plane flew great . One thing i will recommend is us the low rate for your first flight . the plane jumped off the runway so fast it surprised me and climbed up almost out of site.this might be my the plane i fly the most .great planes made a keeper here for me anyway.

RE: water proof
OK you have convince me were do you get this corrosion -X . also i know this is not a water question but were do to put the weight when you balancing . on the plane or on the floats this plane is real tail heavy I think most of the weight is in the floats also i'm going to fly this plane only off water.

I had the same problem i couldn't get the plane down safe I keep trying to land it in to much of a hurry . One of my inst. told me to turn nice and slow line the plane up comeing at me chop the throttle and see how long you can keep it in the air.Let it glide in don't hurry it just keep the wings flat and it will settle in .GOOD LUCK

RE: Is My Trainer Plane Too fast?
I soloed about a year ago and i would tell that instru. to get lost and find you another one remenber the faster you go the faster you need to react yes you need to fly closer but not at full throttle . tell the instru. that if his in that big off a hurry that maybe he shouldn't be training.good luck

RE: what size engine
Well I didn't to fly the plane tell Saturday Like i said i put the HB40 on it and that is what this plane needed it flew beautiful I didn't tell you what plane it was so here it is it's a 1970 ALLEYCAT this is a beautiful plane and i just fell in love with it the first time i seen it .At half throttle you can loop it spin it and do just about anything you can think of. That HB40 has about the same power that a OS 60 has.
