RE: Nitro Fuel brands, so many and no all the same! but what do you think?
I know the guy who makes s&w fuel i won't go in to it to big but unless you are racing you don't need 30% all my guys run s&w fuel and i have yet to have a complaint been selling it for 2 years now.

RE: ((( STEERING SERVO SAVERS )))
All redcats have a servo saver it is a different style loosen it up if you want to hit stuff with the tires so it can take a harder hit.

RE: earthquake used to run but now it won't start
It's probably coming from the glow plug hole sounds like the threads are striped in the head. Yea it probably turns in and seams to get tight but the compression is blowing it out.

RE: Nothing but bad luck with my Earthquake 3.5.
Make sure your not pulling it to far out, you only need to pull it about 6 to 8 inches from truck not like weed eater or lawn mower and maybe you are just a thought. also pull it straight out not at a angle, also try not to get any fuel on the string it will snap quick it eats at the string. Also keep it off the body. Hope this helps

RE: Nitro or 8e series Diff units Breaking Teeth off Ring Gear???
Maybe u guys could check into the gears on the pro hurricane or monsoon, the rears are tough in them. I bashed the crap out of the hurricane xtr and the rear went after 1 and a half gallons of fuel, the front one was still going strong. They sport the .28 engine and i believe they are steel. not sure if they will fit haven't had the earthquake rears apart yet. Or maybe the whole diff with a little cut or chop. just a thought!

RE: ??'s about earthquake 3.5
jugg sounds like your still to rich on the bottom end. Set the jets back to factory and try to tune from their remember to get it up to temp befor you adjust!! if you get it to run and it is just sitting their see if it is spitin fuel out of the pipe , if it is it's to rich turn in the (lsn). On the fuel unless you are racing 20% fuel will be fine 30% is harder to tune, and runs hotter don't waste your money on 30%.

RE: low end power
I think it's in second gear also. Listen for the shift. Also give Redcat a call about it if it is broke out of the box they will help you or maybe the place where you got it from.

RE: Nito fuel change
I'd just stay with 20%, you won't see that big of a difference, plus like kurt said the engine won't last as long.

RE: Earthquake 3.5 runaway crash during break in
First off if you paid $300.00 for a volcano u got had!! Redcat sells it for $219.00. You can also find it on ebay for $179.99. You can't compare redcat and traxxas they are way different. Also the Redcat parts are by far cheaper than 90% of the brands out on the market. All co.'s have their problems. I once had a Tmaxx 2.5 and it ran hot out of the box bought a huge custom coolin head for it and it still ran hot, i found the problem the carb was not sealing so i put a little sealer around it and that fixed my (brand new truck). Again all brands have their problems, you just got a bad one it happens they are all mass produced. Redcat has simple how to videos on their web site if your not sure of something just look and read a little. If your not sure how something works reguardless what it is don't you read the instructions?
