RE: weight question
Thank you everyone for taking the time and responding. I will assemble the whole plane, with the motor, servos, reciever, and wheels on the plane. Before cover it ,and weigh it. and figure on where to install the battery. Will build a hatch if needed, for battery access. And if needed to be can either go with a alum. or plastic spinner, or even just a propellar nut to keep the balance to where it's suppose to be to cg. Thanx again.

RE: covering
Thank you, golf4two. I was worried that I would have to try and find the different colors of paint in spray cans that I know I wouldn"t find to make it match. And to have the graphics end at the cowling wouldn"t look that great. So i was thinking of just leaving the cowling just plain white. But now with this info I can atleast try to make it hopfully match the rest of the 300s plane

Is it possible to take a 4-stroke glow motor and rebuild it to run on gas? If so what would it take to do this procedure.

Can it be done?
I would like to build up a Sig Something Extra. Can it b blown up to a 75-80" wing span? Has anyone ever done it? And is so, How do you do it. I built the kit about 2 years ago and like the plane (R I P ) but I would like to build from scratch and make it into the larger wing size. Do I just get the plans blown up to that size and start there? Or is their somewhere on the internet or where I can get this plane at the size I'm looking for. Thanx

exhause question
Hi I was woundering, or if it is at all possible, to make a homemade header and a muffler to fit inside of a cowling, and for a 4 stroke motor? My motor is mounted sideways and i would like to have the muffler to come out of the bottom of the cowling. Was thinking about cutting the header into two pieces and solding a copper tubing in between the two pieces. By extending the header length would it have any effect on the performance or stability of the engine. Its a satio 100 4 stroke, and I don't want to hurt the motor. Thank you all for any comments or advice Mike

Hello again, thanxs for the advise, I tried a sample with lustercoat primer, then testor's silver meltallic paint, the also a 2nd coat of the testor's bugandy metallic paint the a final coat of lustercoat clear paint over the top of it all. And today when I looked at the sample I had no bubbles or anything as far as i could tell for now. I will wait a couple more days to see if their is any changes to the sample. I will keep you all posted. Again thahk you all mike

satio 100 4 stroke engines
Jjust bought a Satio 100 to replace the 91 Magnum 4 stroke, it bolts up to the engine mount just fine , but the carb needs to be rotated for the linkage to work, and the needle needs to be reached from the top of the cowling like the Magnum did, their is two srews that hold the carb on the Satio engine, but not sure if it can be rotated 180 degrees. Thanks for any answeres,
