RE: Redcat Monsoon Thread
glad you love your monsoon. I have the older model with some of the upgrades listed in this thread. One of the best mods was changing the diffs and clutch bell, it made it a whole new animal. Also,i have found the losi mach 26 drill start backplate works the best, well besides the starter box version. Good luck and enjoy t

RE: Engine Mounts
you can use a sportswork .26 on your sh .28. bolts right up. also, you might have to widen the hole where the bump box wheel engages the fly wheel. i have done this to my older monsoon and i love it. no more one way bearing.

dies after jumping
I need help gents. I have a torpeda that I recently put a xtm 24/7 in it. Well, I have put 12 tanks of fuel through her and decided it was time to do some jumping. Here is the problem, after landing the jump the buggy dies, just shuts off. I have put a new fuel tank and fuel line on her but to no avail. So I checked the carb to see maybe it was loose, but it was not. Why! Why! does this happen. HELP

RE: noob starter box ???
if you take the spacers out you won't be able to use your pull start...it will hit the bottom plate...you will have to cut out the hole for the fly wheel a little larger, no biggie though....so the starter box wheel will fit the fly wheel hole.... also, i put a sortswerk .26 back plate on mine, fits perfect... eliminates the owb also

you can also try using rtv or you can use this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHWN9&P=7 or your lhs...this one will secure your anteena for sure. i mounted mine on top of the box, works wonderful....as for those wheel nuts, i used a pair of needle nose pliers to remove them. and when you do, throw them away and get some 17mm hex nuts, also avaiable at your lhs

as for the idle, check your trim on your remote...or might have to adjust your servo horn...take off your air filter and adjust to a opening of about 1 mm

i was at the nitro pit a couple of weeks ago, to see the offroad challenge. most of the pro's believe it or not, were using "pledge clean and shine" in the orange can. the pit guys say that it works better than wd40. I have not tried it yet so i don't know.
