RE: Warhead evo and Rtx?
well i went to my local hobby store and got a few parts to get the truck up and running properly but it didnt work. So... i can run the truck well but if ran i think it will break something. so my problem is that the truck wont roll correctly when i dont press the gas at all. When i do press the gas the truck will move fine and run normally as far as i can tell but as soon as i let go of the gas the truck will come to a stop. when idleing the flywheel is spinning but the spur gear is not. so i was guessing that this might be because of my transmission... If anyone knows how to fix this that would be a BIG help!!need to get some more driving time today if can [:D]!! thank you, matt

RE: Warhead evo and Rtx?
thank you very much! i didnt see much difference so i thought it would be okay to use one truck as a part truck for the other. So i guess ill go ahead and buy the rtx on ebay and if anything breaks on the rtx i will use the old warhead evo for parts![>:] thanks, matt

Warhead evo and Rtx?
Hello, I have had a warhead scince the day they came out and i have found that i need some parts for my truck but it is not ideal to order little parts all the time. I have the evo kit in my warhead so i guess it is really a warhead evo... but i was wondering if i could get a duratrax rtx for a part truck? do these two trucks have interchangeable parts? Thanks, Matt

RE: Against duratrax??
I have warhead and boy do i wish i had something like a truggy or little buggy. Like the 8ight or something nice like that because if youthink about all the stuff i have bought and fixed, checked up, hasle ect. It would most likely in just about any case off set the extra 200-400 difference. I am right now looking at the mantis.......it looks tough but like all rc stuff they all have at least one flaw. I'd like the mantis but only if i can get it cheap. I bought the warhead because it is a TRUCK and i thought i was going to be doing flips off huge jumps and not brake nearly as many parts as you probley will find if done.

RE: Robitronic Mantis official topic
i wish i could get realy into this hobby but i just dont haveenough money unless some one will but my snowboard. ITS LIKE BRAND NEW LOL. JK i have been looking on ebay a lot to find a CHEAP Robitronic Mantis. This sounds like a buggy for me because it doesnt brake easy to start tough ect. My current truck is a warhead.....if i was smart i would have waited for it to get reviews but no i bought it brand new the first day on ebay. My uncle and i made the same mistake but he has the money to fix it and get a savage. The truck is working fine now after a $50 tune up except the roto start. The gears got stripped after hitting a jump a lot![:D][:D][:D]I would love to get this truck cheap seeing how AWSOME IT IS. If any one finds or has a cheap one plz email me at matthewjbarnes@comcast.net!!!!!!!!THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU LUCKY PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Warhead with Evo Upgrade steering
Just ran it for a bit out side on my road . Going off a small jump once and a while[:D] and it seemed to run fine at 251 degrees fairenhiet. But once and a while i would have to shut it off because i lost control if the trotle and steering. I put new batteries in both servos but it did that once more. It could also be that my fail safe it detecting something i can see and is doing its job or glitching. I dont know what it is but i dont think i need the servo any more. My brothers savage X is the one that needs it now LOL! [:)][:)][:)]

RE: Warhead with Evo Upgrade steering
my brother has a savage x ( i couldnt wait to buy the warhead because of all the hipe. WRONG IDEA!) and he has a hump pack and charger. My truck finally got my truck back from the shop today. They fixed- transmision wheels gas tank fuel lines spur gear and normal tune up cleaning and fixing It might run better now that every thing is tightened up and cleaned. My gas tank wasnt holding any pressure but there was also a leak some where.Cost $50 and 4 something for the steel spure gear. Hobby guy said it will probley run like a new engine so i have to treat it like i was breaking it in. If the steering is still a problem after i test it out ill come back! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!![:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!! [sm=wink_smile.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif]Now i was reading the other fourms talking about the differences between anolog and digital. Now would i have to buy a new reciever/radio to be compatable with the servo? How easy is it also to program all those other things. Sorry about all of this im kinda new. I got my tune up for $50!

Warhead with Evo Upgrade steering
I am getting a tune up from a local shop and i am a begginner and i have no skills in taking stuff apart to fix it. But i have this problem of making turnes in time or turning at all sometimes. I am looking for a low cost but good servo. I wanted to keep my radio/controler but just wanted to replace the the steering servo or the black box thing. Once again i am not very into this but enjoy this. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
