A pullstarter outerware cover is also a preventive measure.

When I bought my KM Baja, it was very slow with the stock pipe on it. I put on a Dominator pipe and now its very fast. Hope that helps. :>)

RE: km stalls
I tried it with new radio gear and it still was the same. So I tried a throttle servo and it did not do it. It worked as normal. I know I cannnot use a throttle servo, so my next question is, why are there three leads on the steering servo?

RE: km stalls
Ok, runs good but I am having a problem with the steering servo. The original one that came with the car started to shake back and forth so I replaced it. The one I bought came from China and worked for about 4 runs but now its doing the same thing. I replaced the battey with a battery holder running 4 new AA batt. and that ran for 10 min before it started to act up again. Is the servo bad? Should I replace it with an HPI one? Oh, and I switched out the receiver and its still doing it so its not the receiver.

RE: km stalls
Well, its running great now with the manifold and carb, new orange gas cap on the way. It was still doggy with the needles at 2 on high and 1 1/2 on low, so I decided to lean it out more, thinking that I might ruin the engine but after I leaned it out it started to get crazy fast and idles fine now. Thanks for all the help guys.

RE: km stalls
Thanks for the advice willclark. I will try that if I still have a problem after I replace the carb, which brings me to a question. How does the little black connector that is connected to the carb come off? Its the one that pulls the throttle in and out.

RE: km stalls
I changed the manifold and the condition worsened, so I adjusted the needles and still the same (it would start and then die). Then I noticed that the primer bulb was not filling with gas, so its a walbro carb next. Although I do not regret getting the new manifold because when I first started it up and started to run it, i noticed a difference in pep.

RE: km stalls
I sprayed some starting fluid on the carb manifold and the engine cut out. The manifold is plastic so i am gooing to replace it with a metal one. Also going to get rid of that crappy air filter.

km stalls
I have a km baja and it ran fine for a while but now it will just die out after about 2 min of run time. I changed the spark plug but it is still dieing out. Its the 30.5 engine.

That's good to know for mine. I am down right now because the rear wheel nut came off. The pull start broke but I fixed that. It's still slow so I hope the Dominator pipe will help (I haven't got it yet).

RE: My experience (so far) with the King Motor Baja 5b.
My baja is slow-no balls at all. Its suppose to be the 30.5 engine but it came as a ksrc 001 in the box, but the engine had 30.5 stickers on it. I am wondering if the seller changed the stickers to a 30.5 on a 23cc motor. is this possible?

When I hit the brake the buggy stalls. Is there a way to adjust the linkage so the throttle will not close backward too far?

The small gear and the large gear on the right side of the buggy is what I am concerned about. When I roll the buggy it makes a clicking noise and is not easily rolled. I checked the brake and it looks ok.

RE: My experience (so far) with the King Motor Baja 5b.
I'm not really sure where to put this question (which thread), but i have a few questions. One is, which needle is the high speed and which is the low. Also when I give it gas it takes almost full throttle to get the tires to move and then it goes. I have only bench tested it so far. Thanks

I just bought the ksrc 002 from ebay and it should (better) be here tommorow. I ordered the outerwears filter for the pull start side of the engine and a killer bee kill switch. Anything else I should get?

As far as the gliching goes, have you tried it on dry land, walk away to see if it does it and how far you can get before it does. I had the same problem and it turned out to be the radio and receiver.

RE: Tower Hobbies Nitro TOWER Terror MT .25 RTR
I have one that I took the Diff off so the rear is in pieces. I have the diff but I took out the gears. It does not have the original rear shocks and it would not come with the servos, receiver or remote. And obviously it will not come with an engine unles you want to buy the HPI .28 I have that was on it for $50.00. The truck is dirty and the engine is as well. Thats all I can remember about the truck but if interested I will let the truck alone go for $20.00 plus shipping.
