SDP I wish to add my congratulations to you for a very successful project. You have provided an interesting and informative journal. I have not built for over 40 years and with your permission, I would like to copy your model. I may not have the same results, but I will try. I have learned so much from these postings, that I have found the courage to start my project. I love the cub, in all its variations. Good luck with your Nieuport build. I will follow that tread just to watch and learn. pete
ORIGINAL: SunDevilPilot <span style=''font-size: larger; ''>I have no video recorder, beyond my iPhone.  But, if someone is there (Denis?) it will likely be recorded. At this point all the linkage in the tail, and for the entire airplane for that matter, is complete. I have used a pull-pull style tailwheel on my last three planes and all work perfect.  There is a pair of springs built into the system at the tail which prevents any harsh shocks from an offset landing from reaching the servo.  Because of the adjustable linkage at the tail tracking is easily adjusted to get perfect steering. The width of the rudder / tailwheel arm on the servo corresponds with the width of arm on the rudder and tailwheel. You can now see why I put the exit holes where the pull-pull cables exit.  I had to make sure they miss the tail brace wires. SunDevilPilot
Phil, Are the tail brace wires functional? Also, would you take a closeup of the spring in the tail wheel assembly? Is there a way to identify the tension of these springs and where you obtained them? Thanks for your time. The plane looks great. pete
