RE: Are the fuels different
So what do you guys think is a better fuel ..Morgan Omega 30% or Sig 30% with 24%oil content? One of the guys at the field switched from the Omega to Sig 30 yesterday. For the first time, he dead-sticked with the Sig with 3/4 tank of fuel! If the Sig 15% with 20%oil says "2 stroke fuel" is there any reason it can't be used in a 4 stroke engine? what do you think?[&:]

RE: Steve Kaluf and the AMA
Jeez, has this thread grown some serious legs!! I'm glad to say, I don't care if Kaluf is working or not. I'm sure the AMA corp. knows how to run itself. It was there (successfully) long before Kaluf, and will continue long after Kaluf. All he was was a "cog in the wheel", and that "cog" has been replaced.

RE: any one have a FRENZY
My frenzy ( equipped with a Saito 125) weighs in at just under 7.3 pounds....that's after I installed the heavier Hitec 625 and 645s. I flies absolutely great. Actually, it flew okay with the 14 ounces of lead I put into it setting the CG 4 inches from the leading edge!....then Hangar 9 discovered their midtake in the manual and told me to set the cg 6 inches from the leading edge. Viva la difference! Now, minus the 14 onces of lead, it flies like a different plane...very responsive.

RE: Hangar 9 Frenzy
My Frenzy flies great with a Saito 125. Remember to set your CG 6 inches back from the leading edge...not the reported 4 inches.[8D][8D]

RE: *New H9 Frenzy-100 ARF*
I'm running a saito 125 in mine. It is extremely tail heavy. I needed 13 oz of weight in the nose. The landing gear is very weak. Once on the ground, you should try not to turn back to the pits too quickly. If you do the gear will fold under the plane. In the air the palne is not very impressive...

If you train with a good trainer you simply won't need it. After you begin to solo..again, you simply won't need it. But if you have money burning a hole in your pocket and you can't find anyhting else to spend it on; then.........
