RE: Calling all members in Minnesota
Just renewing this as I see Brandt renewed his AMA membership and yet he has never repaid the money he stole.

RE: Does anyone know David swantz
I can't believe I'm reading this!!! Huge DeJaVue! New Market, MN? WOW! What are the chances that there are two scammers in the same town? Money Stolen by Fellow RCU member? Weird. http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24624 ...please input f l y.in.g g.i.ants. where the asteriks are in the link http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6880127/anchors_6886890/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#6886890
Best thing to do is contact a local attorney, file small claims if the $5,200.00 falls within their dollar limits.  Have him served.  The best you get is a judgement which probably isn't worth the paper it's written on unless he has some tangible assets.  All the law enforcement agencies are going to pass the buck about being responsible for prosecution.  Is it federal, regarding mail fraud, probably but are they going to chase a $5k claim when they have millions in ID theft clogging their system?  If I were you, I'd fly my tush up there and talk to the local police, sheriff, FBI and see what you get.  I'm sure Craig's List has some leg breakers for hire?
I think you nailed it man. I can tell you from personal experience that you will have zero results from the district attorney in that county and or the New Marke police department. We lost $3000 and they wouldn't lift a finger. Brandt Jasper screwed us all for $3000.

RE: I need help selecting the best Throttle Servo for a DA-50 in a 30% Yak
ORIGINAL: on_your_six Great... good stuff... but the argument was about centering accuracy (for example; do the ailerons always return to the exact same position when the stick is released on the radio)... and to my knowledge, that data is not available. Thanks for the try. I would like to see it if someone has a cite.
There was an arguement? I didn't see it. Just you asking for citations and data and the like....all on a simple "what's the best throttle servo?" thread. Not which servo centers best thread. ANYWAYS...... Good stuff guys. It seems there is a quite a difference of opinions.

RE: DLE Engine Pricing
Well, mine looks and runs like an genuine DLE. If it's not, it's a good enough copy of a copy for me to like it. It runs nice enough it wouldn't matter if it's a copy. :) For that matter, how does one tell the difference between a copy and a genuine dle? I've heard something about lazer engraving.

RE: Ebay Realflight; Buyer Beware!
EbayScammer; (sorry, but you picked it) It is very appreciated that you have included the questions asked of you in your ebay auction. for me that's good enough. At least those prosective buyers have been alerted and can now make their own informed decisions. Well done, and well spoken.

RE: Ebay Realflight; Buyer Beware!
you're totally rignt. Ebay didnt' care this time. The last time someone stole and used this same picture, ebay did pull the auction. I wouldn't even mind if the seller hadn't specifically pointed to the picture and said here's my item, see how new it is..... when it's not even his item....that's just wrong. And for that matter, if someone doesn't agree with me, no problem, but it's only fair that a potential be warned. If the potential buyer knows and doesn't care, then good for that buyer.... buy it. But the guy who has no idea, it's just not fair in my opinion. Thanks for the post.

RE: Ebay Realflight; Buyer Beware!
I'd like to revise my first post. After reading the ebay ad, the seller directly asks potentional buyer to look at the picture to see the quality of the item he is selling. Since the picture is not his, he is deliberately deceiving the buyer. direct quote from the auction: "Look closely... The protective decals have not been removed!!!" thats a scam in my opinion.

Ebay Realflight; Buyer Beware!
This seller is using someone else's picture to represent the item he is selling making it appear that what is in the picture is the actual item you're purchasing. The picture belongs to another person, whom I spoke with and he did not give permission to use his picture. http://cgi.ebay.com/RealFlight-G4-G4...item2eab55c77f Just so you know. Cheers. and pass it on.

CANNISTER AND TUNED PIPE PICTURES HERE!
In my quest to make my own cannister mufflers, I am in need of pictures of the inside of your old crashed up, beat up, dented, unusable cannister mufflers and tuned pipes. So if you have a one or a set that you can spare, cut it up and take pictures of the guts. Better yet, send them to me and I'll do it for you.[:D] I might even pay you something for them. But think of it as donating them in the name of science. Whatcha got?
