RE: Sound options for tanks
Jeff, The only sound module I have any experience with besides Tamiya's is the Model Sounds Shockwave module in my 1/8 Tiger. Every time I start it up I am tickled at how good it sounds (and how loud).I have 3 of them and am taking delivery of a 4th to replace an excellent Tamiya set-up in my RC Armory King Tiger. This is only my opinion, hope it helps. Paul

Had not seen that before(news to me). Have an extra Sherman chassis for the conversionwhen time permits and I tire of 1/8 scale.Better get PCommands approval first.

you may have a problem keeping your engine cool your using a engine that is meant to be water cooled or mounted in a plane as it has no fan for cooling in a car it will get very hot been enclosed in the car

I am using a Tamiya flash unit in my 1/8 RC Amory King Tiger (Along with a Tamiya sound and effects unit cause I had a spare). Both the main cannon and machine gun wires are extended about 2 feet. Works fine. Paul

RE: 1/8 RC Armory King Tiger
Hi Briz, Mike is a great guy to deal with and when I ordered my JagTiger he assured me just because he is getting away from KT's, he will have replacement parts available should the need arise. I spent about 2 years on my King and just finished a quickie/will probaly redo in the spring paint job. Paul

RE: Turnigy Titian 1/5 scale 4X4
and if you want to use a center diff locker from nutech you will need the center ring gear as well from the nutech as the smartech one is differnt and the locker wont bolt up you allso might need the center drive cups from a nutech as well not 100% sure on that one
