Here is my opinion for what its worth.... I can see both sides here. I understand what Lester is trying to do and accomplish but I also understand Chris's side. I personally just like to get together and race each other and spend time gossiping about the sport... I think we should get together about 4-5-6 times an year...make our videos and just have fun. Because thats what its all about..having fun at what you love to do. I see no need in spending extra money to join a club just to have insurance and have a crowd watch you race....there is a lot of work putting all that stuff together and that takes all the fun out of it and pretty soon you are sick of it. I also feel if we continue to have these local meets...this friend will tell that friend and more people will build them a boat... come to our meets.... and then one day you might have enough people to go bigger into the sport, if thats what the majority wanted. Who needs to recognize us anyway? As long as we recognize ourselves what does it really matter? I am not trying to get a major sponsor or win alot of money, I just like to run my boat, I just want everyone to get along being there are so few of us as it is in the sport and share the passion with each other and whoever is interested.

How about Dennis letting Gator Bob run his boat...he held her wide open straight into the trees!! Bob was awesome though...what a nice guy, if anyone ever gets to Dunnellon...look up Bob at the Anglers Resort and Blue Gator restaurant...Great service and hospitality!!

No problem Gatorich....I just barely caught it when you went over that log...between you,Andy, and Terry....plenty of action!! I like the look Terry has on his face getting brought in on the retrieval boat!! And those guys in that one boat is too funny!! I tell ya what...if you want a picture of Asmith on the water you have got to be quick with a camera!! Is there a record for most flips in a day?????

Thanks for all the Help crispy and asmith....BBG(not so much) lol, I will prob order one of these for sure. Ran it on the bench and bubbles like crazy and I bet it tends to get worse especially when the is almost empty leaving nothing but bubbles. Does this tank have any mounting tabs...it was hard to tell in the pics?

Yea that is funny..lol...next thing you know I will be checking the muffler bearings or the fitzer valve!! But I think you are exactly right about the fuel foam...it does do that cause it did the same thing on my FWC boat. How do I stop it.....rubber bushings between the tank and where it mounts at?

I forgot to tell ya'll something funny about the other day when Dennis and myself met up. I wish I could've got it on video cause it was so funny, I was running the Alligator tours boat in all that wind....it was doing awesome...til I was running sideways with the wind and a big ole gust of wind caught her and she was gone in less the a split second...upside down...looked like a dead tarpons silver belly sticking barely up out of the water!!! It was the best flip ever!!!

Are we going to be doing those Oval track races and if so could we have a Alligator tour/Alligator tour modified class race... I know there are some of us with those boats and it woud be cool to race those. The "JUST4PLAY" boat is tuned up and ready to race someone...or get the ole Georgia Beatdown from one of those modified models!! lol

Engine Advice/Question?????
My OS 75ax...when I run it wide open and stay in the throttle for awhile...it wants to shut off....sometimes if I can tell its gonna happen I can back off the throttle and it recovers fine...but sometimes it shuts off. I dont think it is running to lean, it blows plenty of smoke and excess fuel comes out of the exhaust and the engine stays nice and cool. Could it be running to rich and when its wide open be dumping too much fuel to burn and be loading up? Do I need to mess with my low speed needle? Or high speed needle? Run it richer or more lean? It is running great but like I said....if you stay in the throttle for a long stretch it tends to want to die out and shut off. Any help would be appreciated.

At least it skipped and didnt fly!! After you let off the gas it glides forever...hit the bank twice and plus at some point my steering linkage bent and would only turn in one direction :)

Trip to the Pond
Met up with Dennis today, ran the boats at a local pond and took a couple if videos. It was crazy windy, still doing some adjustments to my boat but it was still fun.
