Elvington Autumn Jet Weekend
Hi All, After the success of the July weekend we have decided to host an Autumn Jet weekend on October 20 & 21st 2012. Camping on site fron Fri 17.30 till Sun 18.00. Pilots £10 / day or £15.00/ weekend. & camping £10.00 weekend. Running water & portaloos will be on site. This meet will be free of charge to all current JMA members. Hi All, Plan of attack for this weekend. Gates open 08.30, TX control will be open from 09.00 for booking in ALL Transmitters & Ins Check. ( Please make sure you have your ins , No Ins No Fly, ) 09.50 Pilots briefing , Flying starts at 10.00. Tea / coffee will be available all day Free of charge. Sat morning we will be taking orders for lunch e,g, sarnis & pastys as we have a local shop making them up for us & delivering them. Sun lunch we will put the BBQ on so cremated sausages & Burgers. Hi Jack. a few months ago i started to have problems with my Falcon turbine, I spoke to our u.k. dealer Rob who told JC of my problems, 3 days later a package arrived it was the same package you received, yes a new rabbit kero start. Hi All,sorry for the late reply,i have been very busy sorting last minute things out. Scott, as Dave said it is not a JMA only event the JMA normally help us out. I have sent you an E Mail, you will be most welcome. Weather looking mixed at the moment , looking better for Sunday ( Just for you Dave ) Tea & coffee will be available all day this will be free. The Falcon eng was second hand when i bought it but it still came with the lifetime warranty . As previously stated yes the turbine will be lower thrust than the Falcon but as Rob says it will use less fuel & is 1 1/2 ibs lighter. Rgds Martin.
