RE: PLYWOOD SUBSTITUTION
Buying 0nline is definately OK but that's not going to help me, "now"! Going to the local Home Depot is one of those allready "looked at" Airfiel Models site I've looked at his site several times his stuff makes sense I think what I'll try to do is either "make" my own balsa ply or else try to simply add some glass & some Z-POXY. marwen1

WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDAR TO BE A "HOT" 2 STROKE
I have plans for a plane that would be a rather fast delta wing. It is only a 38"WS with a fuse of 47.5" in length. It calls for a .40 with a tuned pipe. I KNOW that my ROSSI .61 that's been bored out to a .81 is way over kill. ROSSI is hot! So is there a domestic unit thatwould be comparable? marwen1

RE: SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
The smaller version of this plane (36.5"WS), the fins are simple CAed into place. This 60"WS version has been rabbeted into place as well as being epoxied. I can't help wondering if I could get away with placing a rudder support of 4" or so lets say - the width of the top of the rib -from one side to the other.. (25") That's kind of like the BOBCAT marwen1

RE: SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
yel914: So far - so good I'll try to up an image of what I'm trying to do. I think your masking tape and sandpaper on a dowel rod is the way to go..... however, a 1" dowell covered with sandpaper gives a really nice, soft cove. thanks marwen1

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
I recently added some 1/2' triangle stock to beef up some fixed rudders on a DELTA WING. How would you suggest putting a COVE into the flat part of the exposed buildup? It is about a 22" long run uf balsa. marwen1

RE: CAN I USE AN RX
HI JOHN: Well, as we all know - it only takes two wires. The low side of my LG is 2.3V the hi side is 5.3 V Anyway, that being the case, I think I found a PC board in my junk box that will fire up either 3 or 4 LED's but now I have to contend with a separate battery. Maybe it'll keep me airborne a little longer. marwen1
