PE Pro & Ion Cube
Does anyone know if the Ion Cube from Fromeco can charge both batteries (common ground) at the same time using the Smart-Fly charging system or must each battery be charged separately? Thanks.

RE: programming 4 aileron servos on 9303
ORIGINAL: LearnedInUk Hosea's will work fine. It is the same method I used in my 94" Lanier Extra. To clarify the steps I used System> Wing Type>Dual (select AUX3 under ALIE) I can trim left and right side individually. Once you get them mechanically right there really should be no need to independently trim each servo. On a side note regarding programming the 9303.... I have a smoke pump on Aux2 and have it mixed with the throttle. It works fine EXCEPT when the plane is powered off and then back on the only way I can get the pump to work is to go into SYSTEM (turn on radio with ENT held down) then device select and change AUX to INH then exit System and then go back into System and reset the AUX2 to ACT. All while the plane is switched on. Any Ideas? I will also post in the proper forum Try taking that question to this site: http://www.team-horizon.com/
Missing AD?
Why would an AD suddenly be missing from the classifieds if an offer was accepted and why would it not be located when using the reference number and or not show up in the "sold" area?

RE: cross wind landing
ORIGINAL: diamondave and i want to come in quicker than normal, whether cross or into the wind right
Yes a little but remember, attitude plus power (when available) equals performance.....lot's of techniques for x-winds landings depending on the surface, the plane, skill sets, obstacles etc etc etc......but x-winds can be fun....the ultra stick is way better than a high wing, flat bottom type trainer for practicing for example!
ORIGINAL: aerowoof I crab into the wing using airleron to keep the upwind wing low and opposite rudder (cross linked )to keep the plane on track .just before touchdown everthing is neutralized and the plans just rolls down the runway.takes practice to do right
Yep, what is said here except keep the side slip in (takes practice) and land on one wheel (upwind wheel)...pavement more touchy than grass.
ORIGINAL: The Ghost
Thanks guys i read all the FAQ's and support pages but fail to see anything addressing how a canceled order is dealt with
Never ever canceled an order after making it, as I only order what I need. Perhaps you need to read more carefully and then ask the question?????? Anyway to be fair there was an apparent misunderstanding in language terms and all has been corrected to my satisfaction according to an e-mail received this morning. After they explained their side i can see how things went bad.

RE: hobbycity.com
Thanks guys i read all the FAQ's and support pages but fail to see anything addressing how a canceled order is dealt with....that's why i was providing a heads up on store credit...it's that simple. I since have discovered that PayPal (although an option) is also the CC processor and that proved to be confusing in trying to sort things out. Fortunately (this is not really a big deal in the scheme of things) my CC company is going to credit my account even if the shop does not provide a refund to them.....it's just nice to be aware of policy when doing business and their policy is not visible to potential customers that's all.

Small claims court might be in order as the motor is not a custom made item....just curious is there a re-stocking disclosure statement on any of the paperwork or website? I'm surprised that the CC company did not back you up as long as you supplied the proper documentation in a timely manner.

RE: Lanier Yak
Hi guys just wanted to pass along somewhat of an update. A friend who has a couple of these yaks allowed me to fly both of them. One was "radically" lightened to 17 1/2 lbs and the other built basically standard (one servo per ail on both planes) with each powered by an Evo58. Both planes were equiped about the same. Neither plane was really setup completely for various reasons but comparing equal stages of setup the model built closer to standard flew noticeably better IMO....maneuver for maneuver. I'm not sure of the actual weight of the standard plane but i thought it was interesting to note and pass on for what it's worth!

RE: Oxai Zeque
ORIGINAL: ual767 I put in 2 flights today before the rain started. The wind was dead calm so I had to run out and take advantage of the perfect trimming conditions. I can tell now that over all the Zeque is the best plane that I have flown to date. It does pitch to the belly slightly with left rudder knife edge and a little bit less to the belly with right rudder. Not bad but similar to most other pattern planes that I have flown. There is also very slight proverse roll coupling in knife edge. (roll in direction of rudder). Both easily mixed out. The aileron throw was reduced to 10 degrees and I like it better than before at 12 degrees. The ailerons start and stop very positively and cleanly in roll and the pitch control is equally positive. Vertical lines are very good and the thrust line seems extremely close to perfect. Due to the low clouds, I did not take it up to do spins today so I will reserve comment on that until next time. The Axi / Castle set ran great with tons of power. 10 minutes from take off till touchdown required 3200mah returned to the packs. The best way to describe the plane is that it presents extremely well. That is very difficult to quantify but it just looks great while going through the maneuvers. If only my skills were a close match for the plane's capabilities :)
Chris no problem all you need is a regular schedule, regular meal times, consistent sleeping schedule, drink plenty of water and practice while you are alert.......the rest will just fall in place...simple enough!
