Lol...Yeah that was the only clip I had of David, and I felt that he was deserving to be identified after that display of flying skill, even though it was shot earlier in the day. I knew you all would pick up that time warp up, but I also know that you won't care about either out of respect for David... It was one of those magical flights at California Jets VI in Buttonwillow that I will always remember. Hope you enjoy. Thanks Lowell and others for the nice compliments, it really does help with the motivation factor when others comment on your efforts. Appreciate that very much! Paul ...you're an inspiration to the newcomer shooters (such as myself) and the grandaddy of Model Aviation movie makers, you set the professional standards... movies that really do have a beginning, middle and end. It's a pleasure and pain (only physically due to the age thing) to work alongside a Master. Thanks for the tutelege. Now, I'm going to go and read that safety manuel !

RE: What is your Favorite Paul Reese California Jets Video?
Hey Guys, It was one year ago that I bought the Sony HD camera, with the hopes of obtaining high quality, crispy clear jet footage liked what I saw in California Jets Theatre. I admired Paul's style and in particular the 06, 07 and 08 movies. I didn't know him or anybody in the turbine community. Thanks to Paul's instincts and hospitality here I am working with a real professional, all because he created the different moods by way of visuals and sound. Enough to make me want that. Very special indeed. I followed his movies since 2005 all of which drew me into that attitude mode of "I want to try to shoot like that". I had no idea how hard it was and all the effort it takes to edit / produce a movie...let alone the physicality of it all, but I have no regrets. Which is my favorite out of the 06,07,08 movies? Well, that's hard to say at first, each is special in it's own way and it all depends on what mood I'm in. That being said, the common denominator present in each of his movies is the consistently great "captured beauty" of your jets which reflects all the hard work that you guys have put into your birds. But for me it's probably the 07 movie... for it's warm feeling throughout, the soundtracks and the opening and closing sepia clips which were very sweet bookends. Paul, thanks for taking me in under your wing at first and now including me as your wingman. See you all on the tarmac at the Willow, Mike Anderson P.S. Oh, and if you see our cameras come into your view and your not flying a jet then please take off those &%@# sunglasses. We want to see you not sunglasses. Thanks. [:D]
