RE: HELP!
I think if you wait here for awhile youll hear from some other vegas fans. If you really want to go faaaaaast and stay in a small boat have him build a J.A.E .12 and he can use a truck motor

RE: OPS 45 Running Issues
I am by no means a pro at this and you will most likly get all your ansers by days end. I would start with at least 30% fuel and go richer on high speed Only way I know to tune a boat is to run it bring it in and tune again dont do it out of the water. Good luck and it really is fun when you get it ps. you may want to check piston and sleeve for wear Ive had engines that wont tune because of low comp. and make sure you have correct prop

RE: how do i clean up a nitro fuel leak
I am going to lose my tunnle boat after this summer due to a fuel leak my fault for leaving fuel in it. but the best I have found is to use a good dish soap wash well and let dry for a few days at least

Ive been watching you guys hoping you would come up with somthing. I took a huge outriger I got somwhere 59 in long and stuck a K&B 82 byrojet fan on it. It will run about 50 mph on grass and maybe 15 in water before it noses over I think it was the angle of the fan. I gave up, your stuff is to pretty, got figure it out Good luck

RE: K&B 7.5cc outboard bearing life
ORIGINAL: f16man Are you flushing the engine out real good? Pull glow plug and open carb all the way and spray some carb cleaner in glow plug hole and carb ,don't be stingy, spin engine with starter and repeat, now you have the fuel washed out and the after run oil will protect the bearings , I use transmission fluid for afterrun oil.......
Very good advise I was just oiling my engines and found that I was getting little specks of rust that hurt the piston and bearings I now do a better job like stated above

I think to get a good clear coat your going to be using a clear with hardner. If you dont have a spray gun and air carquest has a spray bottle with air can for about five bucks not the greatest but it works
