RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C. Part 2.
ORIGINAL: dtxandtrx My problem is i keep losing the springs. The rear ball ends pop out and leave stripped out holes in the hub carriers. I keep buying more hub carriers but my local hobbyshop is going to stop carrying durarax parts so i would like to resolve this problem. Any ideas would be greatly apreciated.
When you replace the hubs next time or before they strip out use (2) PN DTXC6254 long ball studs along with (2) 3mm nuts. That will fix the issue of the ball stud pulling out and destroying your hubs.

RE: OFNA Jammin CRT.5 Brushless
ORIGINAL: JRockZ
ORIGINAL: Brainanator. Very fun when it's moving, but I've broken knuckles doing stuff that should not break anything. Very frustrating. Even replaced all the steering components thinking it might be binding and loosened the server saver as much as I can...no dice :(
looks sweet man!! Hmmm well i ran at my LHS today and its just a track set up in the parking lot with wood rams and its prob a place any truck could break today everything held up great for me only prob i had was my makeshift battery mount let the battery loose and ripped out my electronics. otherwise carthwheels both end over end and side over side on hard cement didnt break a thing. I have a 1/10th scale body on mine its a little bigger than the 1/12th body and maybe protects it more i dont know. I found mine to just be top heavy and to touchy in steering and braking but since i am/was running the VXL-3s and do not have a way to adjust the brakes i pretty much just had to deal with it. still love the truck but also after seeing the Hyper TT i now have my mind set on getting it, its wider and longer than the crt and with the bull dog body on it it just looks awesome too!!
You could just pick up the monster chassis or have SNR Graphite make you one ? Keep the extra coin in your pocket :) Setup is your issue with how twitchy the truck feels and the traxxas speedo does not help at all.
ORIGINAL: srt10 I've heard, these Truggies rock? what's the word here fellas?
For a 100.00 dollar kit (with mount) it rocks out pretty good. Liked it so much had a SNR chassis made to extend the wheelbase out to 270mm to battle with 10TT's and use regular ST shells. Very happy so far ;)

Oh lol , Using a 16t pinion with a 4300kv 4 pole motor.
ORIGINAL: JRockZ
ORIGINAL: mc4798 I use Ofna, Tenshock and Himoto pinions. To be honest you dont have to use big dollar pinions. The steel ones from Tenshock and Himoto have held up great. 5-7 dollars a pinion.
Thats better got a link for them? And LOL i meant how many teeth not what gear/brand lol
Xerun 80amp has no issue using 3-4s with the stock fan. Also doesnt need a glitch buster to use high powered servos like the "good esc" require ;)

Do you have to run a sensored 17.5 ? But yeah if you are gonna be racing against 2wd corr trucks you will have a decided advantage lol. Sucks to here about it breaking. You like the curbs though
