RE: Blade mSR X Feedback
When I first got mine, I was using a less powerful battery, and charging it on my turnigy charger, it was slightly underpowered, but still did fly like it was supposed to. I was only getting about 2-3 mins flight time. After I got my 25c 160mah TP lipos, it came to life!...lots of power, and 5 min flight times. The only issue that I have had so far, is one of the ball links on the blade grips broke during flight last sunday at the indoor flying in the gym. I have put 100 flights on this heli so far, easily with no other issues. As far as the wandering issue...are your batteries fully charged?...What charger are you using?...Is the pack getting hot after you fly it?... A 12c pack should do the job just fine. When you take off this heli, you need to just pop it up to chest level before you go banging the sticks...lol .. the gyro inside is sensitive, so if you feed any input in to it on the floor, it will wander...it is like any other FBL heli as far as that goes. RE: The Perfect RC Wife
Well my woman won't fix airplanes, or run around in the rain while I control her, but she is very supportive of the hobby. She goes to the field, even in the cold...lol. She helps clean the planes, and helps load and unload supplies and planes in the truck. She actually flew one time on the buddy cord, believe it or not, it was a scratch-built 33% sopwith pup bipe. She even agreed to let me IMAC this season...and she will attend contests...

RE: Blade mSR X Feedback
Got a chance to do some flying this morning...I just happened to have my heli and radio at the jobsite this morning...I showed it to my boss and asked if wanted to see it go...of course he said yes. So it was a little cool, but sunny and absolutely no wind...and I got to burn a pack on the clock!

RE: blade 450 loses power after stunt mode
A governor regulates your head speed...but you can do that by using throttle curves in your radio, for idle up ot would be like a "V" on the screen.

RE: Blade mSR X Feedback
Allright guys...here's my feedback: I love this little heli...I got one for christmas, and like the previous posts have said...the batteries were not available through horizon hobby, so I had to use an older lipo for a different BNF, charged it on my Turnigy charger...got about 3 minutes or so, but needed the higher C rate. So, I did some research online and found these: http://store.batteryspecialists.com/tp1601spl25um.html free shipping for all internet orders, 8.99 each, and IN STOCK!...lol ( I highly recommend these guys for all your battery needs!) Anyways, after getting these batteries, it flies much better, getting about 5 mins flight time, and these lipo's can be fast-charged at .8 amps (5C) takes 12 mins. The heli performs very well...not like a co-axial, or any other heli under a 450 class, with the exception of the mCPx... This is not really a first-time heli, in fact it's listed as an intermediate skill level, due to it's characteristics. It requires constant user inputs on 4 channels, I would recommend starting with expo on your radio (if you can) The fact that it's flybarless makes it very nimble, and responsive to even the slightest inputs. Overall I am impressed with the way it flies, in my opinion way better than the original MSR . For it's size, it is remarkably similar to flying a larger CP heli, I fly 450e size, and 50 nitro size helis. Here is a link to me flying in my bedroom...excuse the pajama's...LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1__tz4cbciU&list=UUIIe_yJoMjIvHffxRA76g8w&index=3&feature=plcp Thanks, Matt

RE: Need some info guys
Hey Guys, In my experience, it has been better to keep contest entry fees and concessions seperate. That way you don't get into people wanting a discount because they brought their own food...or even worse not having enough to go around...not everyone that shows up is going to want to eat there. We sell lunch by the item, and if we have a "dinner" then it is a flat buy-in fee... And as far as your member going all vigilante, well that is something your Board of Directors in going to have to meet and discuss. Later, Matt

RE: Nose, neutral, or tail heavy best for IMAC?
I would have to agree with what you guys are saying... You want your plane to be able to fly inverted wthout having to push a lot of elevator...there are many lines in the routine that you will be inverted, so you don't want to be in a situation that every time you roll over you're fighting to maintain a horizontal line, it will look choppy and wavy. It is more of a "feel" thing to get it right where you like it, if your too far back it will be ultra-sensitive on the elevators, and climb on an inverted 45. If your too far forward, when you're inverted, you will need a lot of down elevator to keep the nose up...also entering the spin, you need the plane to stall on command, too far forward, and it will not stall properly. At the stall moment, you enter into a 1 1/2 turn spin, followed by an established down-line, with a constant raduis pull-out to horizontal, so you dont have a lot of time to put it all together, thats why you need that stall to be predictable and on time. Just my thoughts, Good luck!

Anyone else from the Upper Valley Area, NH/VT interested in competing?
Hey All, I'm from the Claremont / Lebanon area in NH, and am looking to see if anyone else locally plans on competing in the IMAC's this year. I know of 2 other people so far, from a local club that want to participate. I plan on competing in the basic class this year. Thanks, Matt
