RE: Just bought a slow stix and a Spectrum Dx6i and having trouble
Oh and almost forgot in response to this from Gary Harris have any idea how I would go about about doing this "For the Slow Stick or just about any GWS stick plane, you need to run some strapping tape on the wings leading edge's for strength and possibly some fishing line from the wing tips to the tops of the landing gear". Like exactly if I should make wholes in the wings and where or what kind of equippment I need to do this. I mean I think I have the right tape as for fish string I might have some sewing string I can maybe cobine string s for added strength and stability I guess. And lastly If its not a good idea to go fly this plain then what do you suggest, I mean where do I get a flight simulator. My plan was just to take it real easy like barely learn how to lift off the first day but yea as for the landing am real unsure on how I'll go about that. For the Slow Stick or just about any GWS stick plane, you need to run some strapping tape on the wings leading edge's for strength and possibly some fishing line from the wing tips to the tops of the landing gear.

Slow Stik w/EPS400C (need help w/setup big newb here)
So I decided to get my self this plane so I can learn how to fly. Well as it turns out I ordered some of the wrong parts that were although recommended by Tower Hobbies. Anywayz now all I have are whats listed below. What I am trying to figure out mainly is if there is anyway I can use the speed controller I have and what if is compatible with lipo batteries and if so what lipo batteries may I select. Let me know what would be the best as I can still retun all this stuff. Thanks Plane: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPCG4 Motor: EPS 400C Battery: Don't Know Tower suggest using a 2S or 3s 1300-2200 lipo what ever that means Servos: 2- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTX42 Speed Controller: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHUZ3 Rx: Don't know was planning on getting something compatible with Tx from local hobby shop most likely AR6000 like a dummy I accidentally got this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHHR8 which don't work with my Tx Tx: Have a Spectrum Dx6i Prop: GWS 10*6 Let me know what you think and thanks guys

Anyway here's what I have PLANE GWS Slow Stick ARF w/EPS400C Yellow 46.3" ESC GWS ICS400/J Speed Control 15A 6-9.6V JR BATTERY Venom LiPo 3S 1P 11.1V 1300mAh 20C Universal Plug RECIEVER GWS Naro Receiver 6-Channel Standard Pin JR TRANSMITTER Spectrum DX6i CONNECTIONS W.S. What plane to get
This will be my first plane ever and it turns out that I have limited options since I'm purchasing with paypal bill me later however I still have some good choices. This is my first choice the apprentice from e-filte http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFL2725#quickFeatures Looks like a very solid plane, big too these other choices are from towerbobbies. They seem to have a nice selection of gear but a bit pricey and they do offer some very good combo kits like these. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXZMX7&P=C http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBJUJ&P=C At the bottom of each of those pages is a link that will take you to a more detailed description of each plane from flyzone. I like the switch very much being able to go from a beginners plane to a sports plane is a very nice option. The cessna is ok to but they don't even mention the motor, which can't be good. Anyways I'm gonna keep searching if I do decide to go another route other than these it will probably be a custom build from towerhobbies so I was hoping you guys can suggest me a quality Tx/Rx system and charger from them. Thanks guys href="http://www.towerhobbies.com/
