Need help with a rc for my son
Ok i have been doing rc buggys for about 5 years i just switched to brushless from nitro i have a losi 8e that i treid for the 1st time yesterday and with the 4s lipo its retarded fast.Ok my son is 10 and was really liking the new buggy (he did not care for the nitro) so i would like to get he a starter buggy, truck something 1/10 or 1/8 something not alot of money in case he does not get into it.I would like something that parts are easy to get i am sure i will need alot lol.The only thing i have seen so far is the REDCAT Tornado EPX PRO 1/10 Brushless Buggy RTR 4WD that looks like it will fit for what i think he would like so any help would be great. Thanks.

RE: I need help please
Okay, I guess I need to be more clear in my questions, I suck at forums. I am currently running a Kyosho 7.5 that is perfect and have rebuilt and added every after market part you could think of. (I like my 7.5 better than I did my 777) So, I am looking at the Kyosho Inferno Ve, but in my research I have read a lot that the ESC and the shocks and a few other things on the Ve are no good and need to be replaced. So, I am in the position of not knowing what to do. I really don't want to buy a buggy and rebuild it, I would rather go with a kit and build it from the ground up. I really like the Hot Bodies Ve8. Just trying to get a good idea of which way to go. Thanks for the help.

RE: Brand new to 1/8 scale racing
I would say I would definately buy a buggy that your local LHS sales because I run Kyosho and there is no LHS's near me that sell them. So if I brake something or need a part I have to order them and it is no fun waiting for parts. I know that does not tell you what buggy to buy, it is a start it also depends on how much money you have to spend. Hope that helps.

RE: Kyosho must be on crack!!
ORIGINAL: AutoXMan SO whose getting one?
Me, I am going to get one I know no one cares, but I will tell you anyway. From way back with bicycles to motorcycles, atv's and cars I have always had to buy used stuff then fix and upgrade these items to be top of the line and in the end I had as much money in making it top of the line I could have just went and bought top of the line new stuff to start with, but I did not have the money to do that. I really don't understand why everyone is getting so pissed off because Kyosho wants to charge $850.00 for there new mp9. I also get the impression that most on this forum would look at someone buying one as being stupid. The way I look at it, as long as I am not robbing you to get the money or pimping out your wife or girlfriend it really should not be so offensive to everyone that Kyosho is asking $850.00 for their mp9. We should start a forum on how much a gallon of milk cost because I am sure that farmer Joe did not put enough R and D into how much hay to feed Betsy the cow big a$$.
