RE: Kyosho 90 size P-51 with Saito 180 video
The plane was tail heavy and didn't have enough down thrust. It was a real handful and I handed if off to a more expierenced pilot Ray and he had a very hard time landing it and the plane was very low on fuel. Thankfully I reinforced the retract rails and no damage was done. Flone at the Hobby Park Winston-Salem, NC, the cg was shift forward 1/4 inch and the thrust line corrected plane now flies great.
ORIGINAL: Kostas1 How many rpm do you get with the FA-180 and MA 18x6 ?
No where near enough, and the plane doesn't fly fast enough, I just switched to a 17x8 Xoar WWII. Lets see if that helps.

Kyosho 90 size P-51 with Saito 180 video
It's a short video because this engine is a gas guzzler and will run out of fuel after 7min. I'm currently running an 18x6 masterairscrew prop, I'm getting ready to run a 17x8 xoar WWII hopefully I'll get more top end speed. It's got Eflite 60-120 85 degree retracts, I love them they are built like a tank and super easy to install and hassle free. To anybody thinking about buying this plane make the CG 1/4" forward of the recommeded CG and it will fly like a dream. Flown at the Hobby Park Winston-Salem, NC. RE: Hangar 9 60 Size Corsair...Where's The Glue?
ORIGINAL: twinbrother I fly in circles, no hot dogging, no aerobatics, nothing. The only time I go fast is when I'm flying straight and level. There are no high G turns when I fly. And I fly every weekend at the flying field. Your Hangar 9 planes are probably the percentage of planes that have just enough glue to hold them together. The others of us who have posted on here about the Hangar 9 Corsair are the unlucky ones. Horizon Hobby is well aware of the Hangar 9 Corsair having these issues and they are doing nothing to improve the quality of the plane to bring down that percentage of failures. And I also wrote that the firewall came off of the fuse on a simple nose over. If you feel that is sufficient quality for Hangar 9, then more power to you. You keep buying their products. None of my Top-Flite firewalls have come off nose overs. And if they did, Top-Flite should be addressing that issue. And yes, ARFs are for experienced modelers. But even the experienced modeler wants assurance their firewall and wings will hold up in normal flight. If reinforcement was needed during normal flight, the ARF manual would have that in the instructions and tell you where to reinforce. Last time I checked, I didn't see that anywhere.
We shouldn't have to worry about a firewall falling off or a wing breaking apart on an almost $300 plane.

Maybe the nitro guys should start developing fuel injected supercharged 4 stroke engines to keep up with brushless.

What is the difference in RS4's
I was wondering what was the difference between the original Nitro RS4 and the RS4 2, I know the super RS4 and the mini RS4 are the large and mini one. Also in my hunt for a rear belt (HPI A848) I came across HPI A732 is that belt compatible with the original nitro RS4 the only difference I could tell is the material the belt is made of. Sorry if this question was asked before but I just brought a nitro RS4 off of ebay and I've been into planes and Heli's for a long time now, I also searched on a bunch of different forums to see if someone else had similar questions about the car. I had a Nitro RS4 back when it first came out and really enjoyed it, I guess I'm trying to relive my late teen years. Seems that also the touring car scene has become quite bland, not much new innovation other than brushless/lipos and everbody is running the same generic bodies at the races. I remember back in the day the cars ran scale like bodies like Supras, 911GT2, BMW M3, now it's just the 4 door generic aero bodies, it kind of reminds me of what happened to NASCAR lost it's roots, ok now I'm ranting...see ya.
