RE: Traxxas SUMMIT!!! I MUST HAVE ONE!!!!!
I must admit I’m not a huge truck guy. Been flying RC planes for years, but these new offerings by Traxxas and Losi have caught my wallet. I bought a slash and set it up with brushless and such and have been having a ball. The Summit really got my attention. I have had mine for just a short time, but I already love it. It’s just plain fun. It will go darn near anywhere! The power of the 775 makes brushless upgrade unnecessary but for the very hard core which I don’t think this truck is meant for. My only let down is the wheels and tires, but I’m sure Proline will gladly fix that problem. No, it's not cheep but how much would you have into a Crawler and a Monster Truck combined? Granted it doesn't excel at either, but it's still a heck of a lot of fun. Enjoy! I do.

RE: FS one by Horizon Hobbies
I just installed FsOne on a Viao 1.8 P4, 1gig, ATI 128 meg All-in-One. It installed first try other than the controler would not calibrate until I installed the first patch. Have very little time on it yet (darn work anyway), but so far it has been glitch free. I must say though, the graphics are not quite what I thought they would be. Not bad, but not earth shattering either. Once I changed views only to find the wing of the plane through the pilots legs. Ouch.

RE: ultrafly furious outrage!!!!
Just finishing up my Outrage. Trying to decide how to hook things up. As the others have said, the instructions are terrible, and the hardware is no better. I would like to try their ultra light control setup, but again the instruction on how they intend you to use carbon rod for a control horn is very vague. They give NO, ZIP, ZERO info on radio installation. I put the speed control against the right front inside of the fuse, the receiver and switch aft under the wing with the switch through the right side, and the battery (3C 1500mha Kokam) will reside in the front bay on Velcro to adjust CG. This has all been best guess on my part using the space available. I tend to over build everything, but have been trying hard to keep this one as light as possible. Looks like I will come in at, or just under 10oz. with a B06/10 outrunner, 18amp. jetti ESC, HS 55 servos, and Electron 6 receiver w/case and crystal. [image][/image]
