Nope! Allot depends on where you are. Different areas of the country have issues with radio frequencies. Just like the old 27 mhz was hit with CB traffic. I still fly with AM, FM and PCM. I do not own any 2.4 stuff. To expensive to switch over. To each his own.

I roll up writing paper and with a few drops of CA the tube is done. Very little cost and easy to make.

Tower makes more money on arfs. They don't want anyone to buy kits. So raise the price of kits to force people to by arfs. My opinion only. Sounds about right.
