RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk
if standing behind the heli, the nose spins left (counterclockwise) increase the gyro sensitivity. Also, you might want to have the smaller part of the tail blades angle away from the boom about 8 degrees to help offset the natural tendancy of the nose to spin CClockwise. Do this by adjusting the servo by moving up the boom some or adjust the servo arm ( I prefer to move the servo up or down the tail boom) If the heli is spinning clockwise, turn down the gyro sensitivity and check the tail servo to ensure there is not too much pitch outwards. If this doesn't work, the pitch may be way off causing a probelm holding the tail. Let us know how it works out. Mike (senior)

RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk
finally finished investigating the black hawk look-alike and these are the facts: Finally finished the research on the helicopter question a few weeks ago that I ordered parts for via request on RCU. There is a helicopter on the market called the Golden Eagle which has been re-branded as the Black Hawk to stimulate sales. It is a fine helicopter with some of the guts of the Black Hawk 450SE but it is different and should retail for quite a bit less than the authentic HeliPro Black Hawk 450SE fully tested RTF. I can service these with no problem if one cannot get support elsewhere. Golden Eagle ........Black hawk 450SE Main frame Glass fiber ...... Carbon fiber Rotor head bell-hill look-alike ..... T-Rex type Main blade wood ...... wood + carbon Stabilizer Glass fiber ....... Carbon fiber Best Regards, Mike Sr.

RE: The Better HeliPro Black Hawk
I discovered the bell-hiller head is not a heli-pro mod but an intermediatery separate installer. They are a very, very good mfg/installer house and I am able to get the parts, but it is not heli-pro's head. The Trex full head assy is used by many folks on the BH. I have tried the dynam esc and though inexpensive it was a plug and fly scenario. Have tested it for a few weekends. The stock motor performs quite well and unless you need more/different, stay with it until you think it is a must. Just some thoughts, off to fly some more then to the shop to ship. 8am EDT

I will get those bell hiller head parts for you. Give me a little time though. Their heli is a line of hawks that had been branded under another name but they are indeed black hawks. Regards, Mike

Hello Jim, will look through all of your posts and your email from 1am and write you back. As you knew and we have listed on the site, we do NOT fuel up the nitro to test them and then send in the mail......as we do with the electrics. As always though, we will work to get you squared-away. Mike

interesting - I just posted a pic of the radio and all of the accessories about 5 minutes ago. There are lots of the GP in Europe and Queensland and an old 500 thread on RCU that has been subsumed by the BH 450 thread. Regards, Mike

RE: Honeybee FP - so many versions!
that is not what the email meant. Sorry if it was not clear I received your email 20 mins earlier and maybe rushed my response which follows. I added bold on this for clarity "Thank you for writing. Indeed the controller with work for simulator usage. A lot of flyers get the FMS USB cables but you should be fine as is. http://www.ka-planes.com/inc/sdetail/714 When you have a chance please check out http://www.ka-planes.com/hovering_101_ Please let me know if you have additional questions. Mike" I beleive that they might get the cable for other radios but they do not necessarily tell me what they get them for.
