RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from losi's site The Micro Rock Crawler is unlike any crawler you have ever seen. First, it is the smallest crawler around. And second, it is the first Micro vehicle to have a radio system with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM technology. The Micro Rock Crawler can pretty much crawl anywhere. You can run it on the couch, over your keyboard, and almost any place outside. The 1/24 Micro Rock Crawler RTRit's small in size and big on fun. tells me there is another issue instead of antenna length. my micro-t has a spektrum and has n range limitation that i have found yet.

RE: Pro-Pulse 1/18th Radioshack!
ORIGINAL: sonicj spektrum dsm are notorious for this. what happens is the rx reboots when voltage drops below a certain threshold. ie: you punch it, voltage drops significantly for that split second, rx reboots. [link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/6570]this guy[/link] stores power and helps stabilze those split second peaks.
this should aid ANY ESC.Rx combo right? cause i am still getting the full throttle cut with stock ESC. whats funny is, i never ran my old car with the stock ESC and RX, so i never realized how much it sucks :P

RE: Pro-Pulse 1/18th Radioshack!
it basically allows the front more actual differantiation during turning, while holding the poower. if you are NOT running lipo and BL, go full tight, and back off 1 full rotation on both.

RE: Pro-Pulse 1/18th Radioshack!
yeah, you need to take plastic off of top and bottom of diff housing for the MIPs to fit. i used a dremmel, and it took ~ 5 minutes. they are an AWESOME investment. suggestion: tighten the diff ALLLLLLLL the way down, and back of a 1/4 turn in back, and 1/2 up front. (if running BL and LiPo) that worked best for me.

RE: Pro-Pulse 1/18th Radioshack!
dude, SOOOOOO true, but i am gonna put this in a bubble, i built it FROM SCRATCH, took me 27 months, and i plan on giving it to my son when the time comes. this is a HUGE undertaking for me, when i say i built it, i built EVERY part. wired everything, made all the wiring harnesses (yes, full powers, heated seats, a spoiler that goes up at 45 mph, etc) i did it all. so, i KNOW its fast, that's all i need. oh, and as far as flogging it on the street, i dont even do that anymore. cause this happend......... (slow roll onto the throttle, ripped 3rd to pieces. this was at 19 psi, i run 25 now :) ) [image]http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f26/michaelmcnair/DSCN1098.jpg[/image] one of my favorite pix...... RE: 1/18 suggestions for a young one
get a pro pulse, and replace the broken parts yer kid causes with RC18T/B parts. i just bought my SECOND pro pulse, and still have 2 Team assoc. RC18T's (the "TEAM" ones, that come with aluminum stuff) and i NEVER use them. the PP is probably the best RC buy currently on the market.

RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ORIGINAL: Hibityhupla! anyone have problems with the losi brushless set-up? i just hooked mine up to see what it would do and had no throttle response at all....so i tried to hook the throttle connection to the servo and still no response...sooo i went and grabbed a different receiver which i tested and did make the servo move on both channels but hooked it up to the esc and no throttle again.. [:@] if there's no response from the throttle on the losi receiver then thats shot but it looks like the esc or motor is bad too after trying a new receiver...this happen to anyone else? any ideas? already ordered another esc and a spektrum receiver this time...hopefully things go better.......[8|] how is losi on replacing defective products? worth sending in or should i just toss it?
i can send you anew one if you want to try it, i have a few. BUT, sounds like you are not programming it 100% correctly, cause you HAVE TO BE methodical!!!! i mean, i have been around RC's for 23 years, and i still had troubles.......
ORIGINAL: Hibityhupla! had the same problem with a 1/8 nitro buggy...all i did was replace the servo and it worked fine again....not really sure what causes it but they act like they are not getting hardly any power when it happens... which one are you running (stock or 3wire)? i got my stock one pulled off mine...only ran it stock once and ripped it apart to upgrade..lol let me know if you want it....i dont need it and it's worthless to me
thanks, but i am 3 WIRE already. i have one on the way, hopefully it works!!!
