thats a good like piece of kit. got all the good stuff you want for a cheap price by keeping it simple. fiber glass construction makes it light and cheap. for 120 thats a great deal

Are these actual new new shocks? It still shouldn't sag that much no matter especially if you tightened the spring down all the way. Are you sure you're not carrying any bricks or something..

proper connectors or just direct solder everything. lipo with deans to wires that are way too small and not connected very securely.

RE: CHECK OUT THIS BRUSHLESS CORR TRUCK!!
thats doesn't look like anything special at all. just looks like a 1/8 buggy truggy chassis but bigger... baja 5t just looks much better. both are still not a corr trucks. truck and independent suspension? i don't think so... only the body makes it look like corr truck. give me a solid rear axle drive, then ill consider one... until then they are all buggies just with truck bodies.

RE: Best choice for 6 year-old w/ newbie parents
another vote for the stampede.[sm=thumbs_up.gif] Its relatively cheap and cheap parts, its a monster truck, durable, easy to work on and quick but not too fast. You can't really mess up the truck, its pretty straight forward in its build, so even newbies would be fine.. It will go pretty much where the kid wants it to because it has good clearance and once he gets used to it, he can start tweak with it. There are lots of updates and mods you can do to it.

RE: NIMH Lost a lot of capacity how come?
What batteries and what charger are you using? How long is it between runs? and the time period that the 600mah was lost? very important questions.. losing 600mah over several years is reasonable, but over the course of a month or two is really poor.

RE: Just had a great idea on what to do with my savage instead of selling it
Sounds good. those parts won't be too expensive. remember selling used RCs always gives back a lot less than you paid so I'd recommend you keep the savage. It looks pretty much like a normal savage but longer all you really is: the chassis plates.. that can't be much. wheel adaptors... also pretty cheap. longer center axles.. good reason to stronger ones while your at it. wheels/tires.. going to need them for whichever truck anyways so this doesn't really count. all said and done it should be awesome with brushless power.

RE: How do you Deanodize
oven cleaning method works. i've used carb cleaner by accident once and that also stripped the anodizing off parts.

might have to swirl them before use but you should be fine. you can estimate the nitro content fuelamount1*nitro%1+fuelamount2*nitro%2/ total amount of fuel = nitro %

RE: rs4 super nitro?
just say no. revo for a hpi drift? not worth it and not as fun. The super nitro is a better deal but that is a old car and parts are getting rare for it. I would keep the revo. Been a few times where i wanted to ditch my revo for something else but I know i will regret it right after. rc18t for a drift is a better trade depending on the level of upgrades you guys have on your cars.
