RE: *New H9 Frenzy-100 ARF*
Hey Guys, I got to take mine up yesterday and it flew really well. I have a Saito 125 GK in it with a 16x4 APC prop and it hovers around half throttle. My GC needed about 40g in the tail at 6 inches from the trailing edge of the wing. This model is probably not really for the hardcore 3d flyer but more for the person who wants to learn some 3d in a relaxed state, because the model is predictable, stable, easy to fly and stands out in the air.. I had alot of fun with it and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxed model to fly 3d...If that makes sense?[:-]
ORIGINAL: rgoldy I am running a 16-10 Hawk prop and when I had this in a Giant Big Stik, it "flew" it, but it is what it is and 14# was just too much-thats why I thought that it would have no issues with this. We'll keep at it. You will also find (to no surprise) that this plane is really a floater. Hence my landing gear issue-12.5 min into a 12 min tank of gas and then you get to find out how well you new plane dead sticks. Pretty good until that little extra breeze and a little heavy on the thumb and you find yourself 2' off the ground at zero speed-not a good combination. I like to think of it as finding weaknesses that would have shown up later anyway.
Just curious as to how this plane actually flies, by the sounds of the comments im reading here i get the feeling that its a piece of crap..[&o] So anyone who has flown this plane give us an honest opinion of it

RE: *New H9 Frenzy-100 ARF*
Im currently building one of these beasts, installed a Saito 125 GK in it. Just need to finish off the cowling and CG and the things ready to fly, will be taking it up this Saturday. Just a pointer to anyone building one of these with a saito 125, due to the throttle arm being real close to the firewall ditch the accelerator throttle tube, its crap and causes binding on the accelerator servo. I just drilled out the hole in the firewall to twice the size, sealed it with some fibreglass resin and running the throttle rod without the tubing, much better and free movement. Got to point out that this model is extremely easy to build, everything goes together well and its a very fast build, instructions are very easy to follow. Note that the model is fairly weak so I would also recommend strengthening the firewall and around the tank area using some epoxy resin, fibre glass stuff is very good and its very light and can be painted on with a brush, dries clear and is very tough..
